It's time to reveal the new one.

Comon EA. What are you doing?
I think, ESBC is never going to be released.
My last hope is EA UFC5.
I decided to give you one more chance.

As soon as that early access releases I am going to go lab the knee/elbow spam. If it is still a viable strategy in a middle of the ring fight, I won't buy the game or anything else that studio ever creates. Fooled me twice already.

At high level ranked they aren't effective. Sometimes they try it against me when they get desperate, and if I'm using a fighter who doesn't throw elbows, I just block the knee and/or elbow, and return with a combo.

If my fighter does throw elbows then they're ****ed, because as soon as I block the knee, I elbow them sooner than they can elbow me. This will always be the case.

      Try it and you'll see.

Wrong from what it sounds like it could be a late 2022 early 2023 realease for ESBC the content creators were told the game is 80 percent done

Sorry but I have to very much disagree. when it comes to stand up I am easily in the top echelon of players and have several times gone over 100 matches without a loss in stand up only modes. My win rate is in the 90s. just for reference to my experience. Not every fighter is great to use for the Knee elbow spam but the ones that have access to those strikes with high attributes and are taller than the opponent the advantage is ENORMOUS. If you want to work the body with a body hook you put yourself at a highly vulnerable state and have to be very selective when throwing it against a good opponent. If you throw the knee not only do you not have that same vulnerability but you actually have INVULNDERABILITY to hooks and uppercuts because the range on the knee is longer and causes a whiff. Therefore if you know the knee is coming and try to punish it with a big head shot you will actually be the one being punished. It is insane and dumb. Now you say just block it and return. However, the good players using this exploit will always throw the knee elbow combo especially at the heavier weights because if you block the knee the elbow will land before you are able to block it. Now of course a skillful fighter will always be able to beat an average to decent player that is just trying to exploit. But when a good player mixes up the exploit with other tactics and can read and react to your attempts to counter it they can just use the threat of the exploit to dictate the fight. The key here is that the player using the fighter that caters to the exploit and has no moral inhibitions in exploiting for wins has a very large built in advantage. A lot of the top players in ranked are not always the top stand up players and not every character is as exploitable so you might not see all the time, but that does not mean it is very much a true exploit.

That's like saying my uncle would be an elite heavyweight because he beats most guys at the local bar.

How is the standup only mode like the 'local bar'? He's discussing the knee and elbow spam. Your comparison makes no sense. You're assuming only bums play "standup only"? Not so sure about that.

I think he wants to illustrate how the mere threat of the elbow spam just shuts down certain gameplans, even against good opponents. This is detrimental to the game.

Whether or not he's an "elite" player is irrelevant. It seems he's at least a great player, and you should look at the average/good player to determine whether a certain move is OP imo.

Using a mode with no matchmaking rating that also naturally invites casuals (the majority of people on stand and bang literally do not know grappling controls) is a useless frame of reference when discussing player skill.

There is room for discussion for game balance at different levels of play. I'm just pointing out that smashing kids in the most casual mode in the game does not make you elite. It is very much akin to being the toughest guy at the local bar,.

I swear one of the Youtubers said the version they played was "pre-Alpha". Maybe I'm wrong.

They played a build that was in pre alpha yes, but i believe one of them said that build was a few months old though and not the most up to date version and a lot of the bugs they encountered have been fixed
