MADDEN 23 CAN WE PLEASE GET DYNAMIC WEATHER

In the option menu before starting a game there needs to be the following options along with

skill level - Rookie, All PRO, All Madden etc

quarter length/mins per quarter

Game style - casual, simulation this needs to be a option for online
H2H vs friends

add all the previous options as well but what needs to be added is below


Weather - Rain, Light Rain, Fog, Snow,
Light snow (not blizzard snow either), clear, overcast

after that option is selected we need to be able to control the temperature
example
Clear- 25 degrees
light Rain- 37 degrees
etc
would love to have cold games without snow in online games (H2H vs friends)

and the best part should be

Dynamic Weather - toggle on/off
this will give you quarter by quarter weather change depending on whats selected. example below

Snow (not blizzard)- 20 degrees - Dynamic weather ON

game starts out cold in the first quarter, mid quarter light snow starts, after half time Snow is /heavy, begging of 4th quarter snow stops but field is covered in snow. this can be vise versa.... BOOM NOW THATS DYNAMIC WEATHER

I agree 100% and hire some good qa’s to test these settings in franchise mode. On this generation of consoles there is no reason to have glitches like no snow games, every game being clear and sunny or every playoff game being a blizzard..

We desperately need to be able to set temperature and have a weather report. No idea why this was ever taken out when the elements are a huge part of football. Especially since we have HFA now. Dynamic weather should be a given for M23.

EA used to have some type of integration with real time weather from the weather channel. They should bring that back. and make it dynamic

Yes I agree with this. Madden does a good job of having the lighting change throughout the game. It would be even better if the weather could change during the game, like in real life. For example when the Niners played in Green Bay in the playoffs the game started out as just cold, but in the 4th quarter snow started falling.

Yes I agree with this. Madden does a good job of having the lighting change throughout the game. It would be even better if the weather could change during the game, like in real life. They don't do a good job with lighting change. It gets dark at half time during West coast games with 1pm pst start times. They don't understand time zones.

The start time/lighting issue for West Coast teams has been a gripe of mine for a long time. It's basically impossible to recreate these types of lighting conditions in Madden:

I would like to see dynamic weather as long as it meaningfully impacts gameplay.

I mentioned before I'm hooked on Gran Turismo 7 right now. It has one of the best-implemented dynamic weather systems I have ever encountered in a video game, and the effects of weather changes on the race environment are overwhelmingly obvious and consequential. It's the first game I can remember playing where a weather radar is a legitimate game mechanic.

The weather system in GT7 is a bonafide game changer, and if Madden can approach that level of impact with weather in their game, then yes I want it lol.

The ability to control the temperature of the game being played along with Dynamic Weather would add so much. Even the ability to turn Dynamic Weather on and customize the weather by quarter ourselves to replicate real games. If we want to set it to what you wrote above where the snow doesn't start until later but stops at the end of the game, etc. It would be incredible.

I guess EA doesn’t care about the weather aspect when they want to cater to their MUT fans. Players like me who plays offline franchise I want to see the weather change. Hell mlb 22 is great weather, I start the game sunny and then throughout the innings the sun was setting, then dark towards the end of the game.

Madden 12 I remember had a good weather system in a way where the daylight changed, figured with new systems now they could implement something

Could we monetize it for MUT in some way? EA probably when discussing new features. I don't think I've ever seen weather outside of clear in an online or mut game outside of the winter challenges in MUT.

XFactors & SS abilities that only activate in certain weather conditions and challenges that are weather type specific (i.e. kick a 50yd FG in rain, call 4 Verticals 9,000 times in a H2H MUT game in the snow)... then people will play more games to get the weather conditions they need for those challenges and to activate certain abilities.


Boom. Solved it for you EA. Your welcome for the money. Now let us have the advantages of this new weather system in Franchise (we'll refer to this as the "Pouring Money Weather System" because of these newly generated profits).

Dynamic Weather people want is where the weather changes over the course of a game...

Like u could start out sunny then during game It becomes cloudy rainy & Temps decrease...
