Things I’d like to see brought back in nhl 23

I have played every nhl game ever out since sega genesis, Anybody remember the momentum meter that was in one of older games?
Also I’d like to see back , the players getting on hot and cold streaks, that was also in one of older games. What older feature would you guys like to see come back?

That's definitely been missing though for the last 10 or so years.
At least he was passionate in trying to make the game as good as possible when he was lead producer from 2008-10.

*Better TV style presentation
*The ability to Edit Players appearences / Weights / Heights
*The ability to Edit Attributes "in Season / Franchise"
*Hot / Cold Streaks
*The ability to "Copy" players (very handy when Creating Players)
*Defenceman to Shoot from the point
*Players--on breakaways NOT to crash into Goalies / celebrate stuck in the Goal etc

I would like to be able to customize goalie helmets, kind of how you would a team. Give us a bunch of generic, NHL, CHL etc etc logos along with the ability for custom colors, shape tools etc and just let us make our own helmets rather than the same generic 2 helmets per team thing.

I mean, I'd even be happy with a refresh on some generic ones, which is a pretty low bar to set

Semi-related to your post, but I'd like to see them take the sharing feature to the next level, similar to MLB the Show, etc, where you can share/download custom unis, goalie helmets, and slider sets. Essentially anything that you can customize on your own, you should be able to share through the vault.

Many good things was listed before. During the Gameplay missing more TV atmosphere. Anthem at the beginning, raise a banner for champions, number of retired Heros of a Franchise. Three star selection after the game. Means that Players come out and raise the sticks to the crowds. More Player Infos during the game including more individual statistics of the Players during the game. Since this year they also removed the Goalie introducing. Every TV channel starts with this ! All these missing things which they removed from year to year makes the game looking stale and emotionless. What happened to the 1000 NHL game celebration with the silver stick ? Did they removed this too ? I didn’t see this in this years game ? Urgently also we need to have a short Player Bio including with all his transfers to other Teams and for which Pick or Player he was traded. This is all in the System. They only need to activate it. The five game streak should be in at this site. To let us upload Player Images ( 50% of the Players have old Images from years ago and many only black Silhouettes ). A possibility to scan Player faces from a picture and to add them as a gameface.

Been trying to find enough time to finish it so I can release it as a standalone windows app and use it for my portfolio.. maybe one of these days I'll crack the EA roster

Something they need to add is a way to add a friend to play franchise games with.

Seems like that should be fairly simple.

Return to PC to allow modders to really get their hands on the game and Coop Franchise mode. I can cope with all the other weaknesses and weirdness if I could play on my PC and with friends. I currently have to Parsec and play emulated NHL games/2K games.
