I am guessing that this post will garner a range of responses, including everything from "nobody cares" to "you're wrong" to "same."

For what it's worth, I get it. Those of us who post on this old-school gaming message board are way more passionate about this hobby than is probably normal, and we all have different ways of reconciling ourselves to the directions that modern sports games have taken. This can be especially tough for older gamers who have been playing Madden since its very first iteration.

I might be able to add some insight on what's helped me continue to play and enjoy the game if you're interested in that, in which case, I'd just need to know what level you play on and what your top 1-3 issues are.

I've settled back into 22 after a return to 21 and lots of stops and starts along the way, but I feel like I've finally made my peace w/ this game & am happy to discuss how if it's useful.
