    How many people from the 2K team work on tendencies?

    Can someone answer this for me; or can they direct me to answers?

    One developer is responsible for tendencies and they outsource it to a 3rd party.

            Among all of them, the mid-range and spot-up mid-range tendencies are constructed the worst. I consistently fix those in my rosters. I'm mainly focusing on 2K23 now. This is a good question though, one that they never seem to take that seriously.

                Some people just talk **** and think they know everything.

                Pretty plain and simple whoever is doing the Job isn't getting it done. Been happening for Years and just keeps being the same.

                  I legit dont give a damn about ''knowing the full story''.

                  The tendencies are laughable. Have been for some time now. The NBA portion that used to be the core of the game has been disgustingly neglected for years now.

                  The fact of the matter is: The game no longer accurately portrays real life basketball. This is now videogame basketball, kind of like FIFA Ultimate Team is.

                  Almost non existent fouls, not nearly enough three point shooting, the help defense logic issues, no stepback shots, an inconsistent contest system... I no longer feel like 2k is accurately representing what I watch on TV.

                  The fact that it takes people months of slider twitching and experimenting to even make the gameplay experience somewhat realistic and having to go through this process every. single. year. is pathetic.

                    Everyone has different goal posts.

                    Tendencies are acceptable for the vast majority of the player base.

                      The tendencies are ''acceptable'' for the vast majority of the player base for the same reason Madden is. There is no other option. Or do you think people are really satisfied and happy with it?

                      Lets not act like most of the online park crowd gives a damn about realistic tendencies. All that matters to them is OP animations, unmissable 3pt "greens" and finding a meta.

                          It was never intended to. It's a video game. There's as much realism here as there is in Call of Duty.

                          The majority of the playerbase doesn't want "realistic NBA basketball". Most of the people here who "want" it don't even know what that entails. Technology is at least 70 years away from replicating what transpires on an NBA court.

                          The game needs to be balanced around what the system is ACTUALLY capable of technologically.

                          It's moreso that few people (beyond a vocal minority) actually care about them, much less understand what they are. The number of people who complain about Tendencies yet are actually capable of diagnosing & troubleshooting issues on a meaningful scale is even more miniscule

                          The game moving in an Online direction (as w/ most games) is precisely why Tendencies matter less than they ever have before.
