This is an interesting development.

Robbie Ray isn't part of the Mariners trip to Toronto for their 3 game series.

I believe he would've gotten his Cy Young award? I know Semien got his award when the Rangers were here.

Given the vaccination rules, it does make for an interesting connection here. Jays opted for Gausman over Ray, maybe even a big part because Ray wouldn't have been able to play here? Although based on how both have been so far, seems like a great decision for the Jays regardless of vaccines.
