Will You buy NCAA Football without the edit player feature?

I'm curious to see what everyone thinks if the game was released without the ability to edit players.

I personally would still buy only if they released the game with former Alumni/NFLPA Players available for each school.

If it's mostly generic players without any ability to edit them, I'll probably pass.

I'm buying it regardless. As long as the real schools and stadiums are there, the rosters don't matter to me.

By year 4 of dynasty, they're all completely fake anyways.

It'd be cool to have editing, or even if they find some way to have real names. But it's not at all necessary for me.

I feel you the college atmosphere and presentation might be enough to ignore the generic players.

I've just never played a sports games in general without real players or the ability to create them myself.

If the FCS school are included be they already be in the game, DLC purchase or teambuilder then yes. If not then no.

They've already said the first game is only going to be FBS schools.

I have no idea if there will be a Teambuilder feature (I doubt it), but they won't be on disc or DLC.

As long as the game lets you generate player names from the get-go, its a day 1 purchase for me.

I play long term dynasties, and by what year 4? Names are all generic anyway.

100% not. Hate sports games with little customization. Would it be so boring and stale after a year into Dynasty/franchise IMO. Worse part of Madden and why i skipped the last few years.

More than likely I will. I still expect real names in the game at launch, but if not, and there is no editing, I'll still get the game. Real rosters don't matter after a few seasons, and odds are someone will find a way to get rosters into the game even if it isn't an official feature.

5 years ago I would have said "no way", but now 100% yes. I wouldn't buy Madden without it because so many things such as ameliorating terrible CPU draft logic and poor assigning of abilities have to fixed to have a solid experience, but for a college game, besides not caring about "real" anything, I don't expect roster construction to be off the rails.

1,000% yes, for me.

I’ve (we’ve) waited almost 10 years. Frankly, a next gen exclusive football game, with college uniforms, stadiums, fight songs, etc is all I need to buy.

Now do I hope for more? Absolutely. I’d be disappointed if there’s no Teambuilder or edit-player feature. I’d be disappointed if the engine is just a Madden port. I’d be disappointed if a number of things don’t make it in. But I personally don’t NEED any of that to warrant a purchase.

I dont care if you can edit players or not. Thats not even on my radar of reasons why I would or would not buy the game.
