I usually forget eFootball 22 exists as that "demo" was barely better than an alpha version.

Konami has signed a partnership agreement with the USL that will help eFootball 2022 at some point, but there's no new MLS news yet.

Is this still happening in the spring? Have not heard anything recently...

Its Konami they are terrible at communication, so Spring could mean next week or June 20th.

You were right. About a month away from June 20th and still nothing. Konami and "eFootball" is a lost cause at this point.

Konami is toast. Best case scenario is Sony or someone else buys them and all their IP's including Metal Gear, PES, Castlevania and whatever other franchises they're abandoned or ruined.

Well no need to worry about Master League it's not coming until 2023.

What about the USL license, do we have to wait for USL teams until 2023 too? I've seen the eFootball ads at Keyworth Stadium so Konami must be paying money to them. Nothing makes sense with this franchise anymore.

Tbh I’m not sure. Their player stats are already in the PES Database:

USL Championship eFootball Stats - eFootball stats for all USL Championship teams including Birmingham Legion FC, Charleston Battery and Colorado Springs FC.

It looks like it matches up with the latest rosters from Wiki but I haven’t checked. I’ll check the training mode to see if I can find the teams and/or players and let you know.

Edit: actually it looks like they’re already in the game per this YT video

Since they dropped the v.1.0.0 update or whatever it was called all the licensed teams have been available. It's just that you can only use them in training/practice mode.
