EA Sports College Football Graphically Speaking
Anybody else besides me been thinking about how beautiful this game is going to look? Any time I play Madden 21 or 22, I just envision the college game. The Madden games have flaws gameplay wise, but there is no denying how beautiful the game is. With this game being Next Gen exclusive, with the beautiful college uni's like UNC, Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan etc., it's one of the things I'm looking most forward to. Hoping to see some screenshots this summer."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Tags: None -

I know we have reasons to believe EA will let us down and do a rebranded NCAA 14 with a Madden engine, but I'm optimistic that this game will surprise a lot of people, both visually and schematically.
If it were a rebrand and quick engine swap, I think EA would've launched it this summer. Over 2 years to produce? I think we'll be pleasantly surprised. -

FoF does give you a small look but it doesn't capture the gameday atmosphere, the different stadiums etc. I also played the college mod on Madden 20 PC and loved it. But, I just think the game geared towards college, with it being Next gen only, will be stunning."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Absolutely right. I can't wait for it. I'm and old gamer (47), and still get mesmerized when I play the next gen madden.
We've come a long way since I was playing intellivision football for hours on end. I'm jealous of these kids today.

Now we know the game will look equally as good as Madden more than likely, and Madden has revamped their player models this year to be even better which should mean the new college game will have the best player models it has ever had. I'm too excited for the return of college football.
Literally. I am too excited. I literally dreamed last night that it was September and Madden was out and EA surprisingly told everyone that College Football was ahead of schedule and they released it in October. Yea, I dreamed about EA surprise releasing the new college football game in the middle of the season this year.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: EA Sports College Football Graphically Speaking
Definitely should be visually stunning. I really hope they embrace the atmosphere and tradition aspect of it like they did with NCAA 13 and prior. Like I said in other threads, not sure what happened with NCAA 14 and them streamlining everything. They took the time to get as much of the traditions for most of the schools. From unique team entrances, fight songs, marching bands, etc. Then a lot of that went away in NCAA 14. I just want them to go back to fully embracing the college atmosphere and traditions.
That's why I'm glad devs like Ben Haumiller should be back to working on the game like he was before, so he knows the standard of what was in the past.
My only question would be presentation/broadcast. I'm pretty sure that 15 year ESPN license expired last year and no word of an extension. Nowadays most sports use their own broadcast packages. But when EA actually used the ESPN license in the NCAA games and NBA Live, they did a good job with it. According to a SGO report last year or so, ESPN wants a bigger presence in the games, more than now which is just marketing the games. But as I said, most sports publishers rather use their own version of broadcast packages. Before I automatically assumed that EA would renew that ESPN license, but with them not renewing Fifa and NCAA(for obvious reasons), I'm not sure if they will. It doesn't "need" the ESPN broadcast presentation, but they would need to put way more effort in their EA broadcast than they do with Madden.Comment
