Where to go.......What to do?

Looking to jump into the waters of some sort of Madden League with the next iteration of the title. But where to begin? It has been a long, long, long time since I participated in any sort of league effort. Used to play in all sorts of leagues for Madden, NCAA, and 2K. Anyone remember the League Daddy website? LOL

Anyway, have been playing around with Madden '22. I played some offline franchise and plenty of online games. As far as the franchise goes, not really about all the tedious tasks of offering, signing, scouting, and whatnot. Online, well, I pretty much am AWFUL! Am curious, what type of things do I need to know/understand to be "league ready?"

Is it all about being skilled online? Or will I need to have some type of plan as far as being a really good GM for my team? I was reading some of rules some of these various leagues have.......WOW. Some are very, very deep as to just how you need to run your team, sign your players, resign your players, draft your players, etc. Seems like a LOT!

Would love some suggestions which might point me in the right direction.

Depends on the type of league you go for. There are two main types, sim focused and casual.

Sim focus you'll see people play like you see on Sundays; mixing plays, not abusing the AI, etc. Typically these are more adult leagues with older members.

Casual leagues you'll see people spamming the Youtube Money plays.

We have leagues at paydirtfootball.com. Our newest is REDI-SET, a Madden'23 coach-node, H2H, PC league.
