    Ps5 vs series x

I was fortunate to be able get both systems not at the same time but spread out. With madden coming out soon. Is there any really major difference between the two systems for this game. Is it just now exclusive where there a difference between ps5 and seris x version of games.

If you plan on playing with friends, I would go with the system they are on. Otherwise, I prefer PS5 mainly for the controller comfort and it having haptic feedback.

In my personal opinion EA sports games have always played better on Xbox. I remember EA using the Xbox development kits for their Madden, NCAA and NHL games (not sure about FIFA) going back to 2007, first with NHL 07 and the introduction of the skill stick. NCAA and Madden were running at 60fps on the 360 while they were only ay 30fps on the PS3. Obviously, things have changed since then and today's consoles are basically PCs with nearly identical specs so it probably doesn't matter anymore.

As far as the controller goes, the haptic feedback is nice (especially for games like MLB the Show), but ever since I started using an Elite controller, every other controller feels lite and cheap compared to it. So I guess it's a preference thing, like how I used to like the PS2 controller way better for Madden and NCAA back in the day.

Not sure if its still different but i believe Xbox was 120 fps last year while ps5 was locked at 60 and that definitely made me play the Xbox version despite the haptics of the dual sense.

It vibrated a lot when you lost momentum. I don't remember if there was resistance when using the paddle buttons since it's been over a month since the beta.

Can't speak to the PS5 because I've never played it. So what I will say is, you can't go wrong with the Series X!

Can you tell a difference playing the game on the series S vs X?

Always preferred Xbox controller to the DualShock/Sense for most games, including sports games. It's also just been the overall more powerful system for the past 5 years.

I’ve owned it on both, and both are great and very similar, I prefer the SX version a bit more, the controller, and more friends.

The most annoying haptic feedback you can imagine: a "whoosh" sound for passes. So I shut it off in anticipation of the game.
