What's up everyone!! I'm back for Madden 23 Next gen. Overall, Madden 23 is a big leap for the series as far as gameplay goes and as soon as they fix the free agency bug in franchise, I will be the most excited to go deep in a franchise as I have ever been. For my sliders this year, there are a few things you have to do along with my sliders to get them to play well, well 1 thing really...and that's edit the CPU QBs you are about to play. Follow along as we break it all down.

In Madden, CPU QBs follow their archetypes way to much and with how Madden's rating system is set up, Improvisor is almost always rated higher than scrambler once you get into the higher rated QB's. The problem with this is that improvisors specialize in throwing on the run and avoiding pressure by extending plays, and they do just that. They will however, not scramble past the line of scrimmage because that is tied to the scrambler Archetype.
How do we fix this you ask? Well, We edit CPU QB's ratings to make Scrambler the 1 rated archetype for them. This will have them moving around in the pocket and taking off on you, however, this can lead to 1 more problem. Dinking and Dunking. 1 of the main sliders for Scramblers is their short throw accuracy (don't ask me why). So now you have QB's who will run on you and dice you up with passes 10 yards or less for 90% completion....sounds fun right? wrong!! To fix this, the second highest Archetype for the QB must be strong arm, and medium throw accuracy as well as deep throw accuracy must be rated higher than short! Once you do this, you now have CPU Qb's scrambling, moving in the pocket, throwing the ball deep, pushing it down field, all to a realistic completion % because deep throws have a much lower success rate.
