Well the fact that EA has included the flip pass in the game means we should see it 2-3 times a game from online opponents... They really do like re-creating the flavor of the month where it is overused to death!!!

With EA fitting the flip pass in the game, I am probably spot on when I say, "This means something or two is eliminated from Franchise Mode"...

Exactly... I will have a digital copy, will never see the cover except for the opening screen, which I usually let play as I am using the bathroom before sitting down to play...

Which is why I liked NHL 2004. Once you picked your fave team, the menu just changed to represent that team.

I'd imagine it takes much less time doing that than the time and money it costs to have a cover athlete and have them come in to do photo shoots and promo videos.

I like that actually, I've seen Sarah Nurse Play on TSN, she's tough, did you know she related to NHLer Darnell Nurse Defensemen for the Oilers, good we need more players who can dangle and pull off fancy moves and stuff, am already wanna see what they bring us in trailer tomorrow.

Trevor Zegras is a good player who probably knows many slick moves and tricks with hockey sticks.

he's a good pick for cover he's got my vote for sure. they both got my vote for sure.

This is sick! This year we'll get to flip the puck over the net to a teammate, have him bat it in for the sickest goal in CHEL history! But wait, what's this?? Not only will you be able to do that, but you'll be able to do it as the best women in hockey??? WELL HOT DIGGITY DAMN!

90 bucks to be able to do that and get a roster update. Hooray.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be Saints Row on skates. When the first official announcement sounds like it cares less about how the game plays in the dorm rooms, and more about how the buzzwords play in the faculty lounge, that's not a good first impression.

This is it. Even if I was to get the actual disc copy (I feel like that's becoming more and more rare), it'd just end up in the same pile as the rest of the rest of the cases. Do people display them or something? Or are they just upset there's a woman and a fun guy on the case?

This may be the worst cover in EA history, I don’t mind who’s on it, but this doesn’t even look like a hockey game. It looks like a magazine cover.

Game sounds solid though.

I'm a Ducks fan, but its too early to put Trevor Zegras on the cover of an NHL game. Sure he got some highlight real goals, and one very creative assist, but that is not enough to warrant being a cover athlete. If he had a solid 80 point season this coming year I would say it would make sense, but its too soon for him. Cale Makar was the best option on paper as a young star player on a team that hasn't been recognized on the cover for a long time. Kaprizov would also be a good option.

Sarah Nurse on the other hand was the perfect choice for a player from the women's game to be on the cover. A rising star with a great Olympics, perfectly marketable.

Why are neither wearing full hockey equipment? It really bugs be for some reason that they are wearing shorts and leggings in the cover photo.

Same here, I’m not even a huge hockey fan, but what is this EA??

Absolutely hate EAs latest cover choices with smiling faces and overall no “action”. (Excluding M23, those are amazing)

Bring back action shots!!
