Backyard Brawl has been good so far. Happy to see JT Daniels get some action.

Game is starting to get away from WVU. Momentum has definitely taken a turn.

        WVU needs to answer here.

          That shouldn’t be targeting.

          Right call in overturning that.

The receiver who let that ball bounce off his hands for the pick-6 has got to be feeling bad. Really good game though. Great way to start week 1's college football lineup.

We take you live to my living room during that game.

Slovis was Tino like at times, but man what a game. Hope Hammond is ok. Great win.

I was a Backyard Brawl virgin until tonight.

That was as awesome experience, so much fun. I would put that above when PSU and Notre Dame come to town for the overall atmosphere between the three.

Credit Penn State for coming back to win the game but I have no idea what Jeff Brohm was thinking essentially refusing to run the ball and burn any clock.

I had listened to Crain and Co. go on a lengthy rant that Jeff Brohm needs to learn to slow down to sustain success in the Big Ten just a couple of days ago...and then this happened.

I was glad to see Pennstate play well on the road. PSU fans should like there chances in two weeks now against Auburn.

Give me Georgia over Oregon, but not by the 17 line.
I want to take ND over TOSU but ND just cant win a roadgame against a ranked team like the Buckeyes. ND may have to settle for a moral victory.

Classic stubbornness by Brohm, which is the downfall of many coaches late in close games. Whether it's the tempo-obsessed coaches who don't slow down late with a lead, or passing teams who keep passing with the lead instead of running the clock, or just "aggressive" coaches who feel they must continue being "aggressive" to the very end whether the situation calls for it or not. Like many games, this one was lost by Purdue, more than it was won by Penn State as Brohm insisted on giving Penn State as many chances as it needed to go back ahead. Too many coaches seem to be all-in 24/7 on their absolute philosophy will little room for common sense and flexibility.
