Pretty solid list...the omission of Harold Varner III is obvious, as he was shown in previous 2K23 videos. It's is not a surprise he's out with his jump to LIV.

Also, Bubba Watson was rumored, but one would assume he won't be in either for the same reason as HVIII.

I think some info came out earlier that 14 pros would be available at launch, and now only 12 are mentioned. So it seems HVIII and Bubba might be the two that would have been in to get to that number.

It's also interesting the number of players that are NOT making the trip back from 2K21 into PGA 2K23.

Obviously, some LIVers are in that group (Bryson, Ian Poulter, Sergio) and some players are maybe not as popular as they used to be (Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Gary Woodland) but younger guys like Cam Champ and Patrick Cantlay, as well as established guys like Billy Horschel and Kevin Kisner, are missing from this list.

Yes, more are coming, but since those guys were in 2K21, I figured they'd simply be back for 2K23.

So yeah, seeing who might be coming via post-launch DLC is very interesting.

For sure...that's what makes Rickie Fowler's inclusion here interesting, since he has a history in the other company's golf games.

I also remember the other company using player quotes in press releases for their game...including now-LIVers Abraham Ancer and Bryson DeChambeau. So it seems there a lot of shuffling around the inclusion of pros in these golf games.

I wouldn't be shocked if there's fighting over certain guys...a name missing in the 2K23 roster is Max Homa, who's grown in popularity recently and seems staunchly in the PGA Tour camp. He's probably being approached by both companies and getting decent offers to consider.

Tiger and Fowler arrived together by plane in that big meeting at the BMW in Delaware. It looks like they're good friends, not too surprising Tiger got him to sign for his golf game.

This is a good list so far. Surprised not to see Cantlay as he was in the last one. Not too surprised to see Rickie. He’s been struggling over the last year or two but is still a big name and is very marketable. Does anyone know if the golfers can appear in both games?

We don't know for sure if pros can/will be in both, but we do know that some courses will. So, unless the deals the pros have with 2K or EA are exclusive, I wouldn't see why they couldn't pop up in both.

Also pleasantly surprised to see Rose. Remember him being in some of the older Tiger Woods games when I first got into golf games.

If the likeness is exclusive I'm okay with that but I hope at least we're able to see as many names as possible in BOTH games (knowing of course there will always be exceptions).
