If they put a patch out very soon to fix the ints I think many will like it but if they don't few will.

Can we still download the trial I'd we have EA Access? I don't see an option for it on PSN. Wasn't sure if it is because I have EA Play or if the free trial isn't love yet.

Appreciate any clarification!

I tried it out last week. I still have some time left on the EA Play Trial unless it expires with this one on the 11th. Doesn't matter to me. It's a shame they left SuperStar KO with only three teams now. At first it was 8, then 6 last year, now 3 and they took away college teams.


I played four online games with REGS H2H. Won 2, lost 2 and all of them were interception fest. Both losses came at the hands of guys using the 3-3-5 type formations. My offensive lineman may as well have been on the sidelines because they couldn't stop anything and I used line adjustments and Mike ID. I didn't have time to even wait on a short receiver route. If I threw it to avoid the sack guess what happened. Just guess. Yep. INTERCEPTION!!!!



It was so disappointing and felt stale.

I wonder for those who have been playing on the 10 hrs trial if this will freeze our remaining time so we can play unlimited this weekend and then have time remaining.

I appreciate ea giving us the opportunity to play the game for free, but I'm not to enthusiastic about playing since reading about the interceptions.

Have they released a patch to fix the issue?

They haven’t even acknowledged it afaik. My last game, which was over a week ago already, featured Marcus Mariota starting the game 1 for 4 with 3 picks, two returned for a td. Can’t bring myself to play at this point.

putting a new release on trial for free is unheard of and is telling on how bad the game is. 2k, nhl, fifa and the show never do this (even the new 2k golf game). don't have to. their games sell themselves. so far reading it's an interceptionfest and that concerns me right off the bat. they might as well put the game on sale right off the bat to increase sales because looks like they'll need help to reach their sales expectations.

I actually thought the gameplay wasn't bad after playing 3 games. I however am someone who last tried madden at I think '12 nd last purchase was '07. What was really eye-opening to me was how little it offers in comparisson to nba2k. I liked the 90s and 2000s nfl, but not so much for the past decade. I assumed I'd be able to play with legends on nostalgic teams but you can't - it felt bare bones and I had this feeling of 'really?' as in, even a decade after playing one I wasn't impressed. But again I think they did make major improvements to frame-rate and running gaem/blocking tackling - throwing is a bit wonky depending on the route/type and ball physics are laughable. Kicking is arse as well. So overall the trial is bitter sweet for me and I won't purchase but I'll still play a few more games - there's just not really any teams that excite me so it's almost like playing a generic game.

I want to like this game, but I rage deleted it after another interception. IMO the game is unplayable in this state.
