Re: All classic courts
That's a good questions. So far in the jordan era, here are some missing noticeable courts
92-93 suns
95-96 and 96-97 rockets
94-95 and 96 cavaliers
95-96 hawks and hornets
The sonics court before the 95-96 rebrand is wrong
That's sad I hope we get those in an update -

Re: All classic courts
Tnx and wow 😮 how is that possible? Fans have even created those for consoles for ages…definitely will not buy it until that’s resolved. Hell, Hornets had their classic 1997 court in last year!! That’s just freaking copy paste man…Comment

Re: All classic courts
This is pretty disappointing. Was especially looking forward to the Rockets court.
Fors anyone know what happens if you use a custom court and the same team is due for a programmed court update? Does it keep your custom court or does it move onto the new court it was designed to do?

Re: All classic courts
The other poster could be referencing a couple things:
1) How the early 90's court doesn't have Seattle Coliseum branding (naming rights issue, presumably)
or
2) How the Sonics played the 1994-95 season in Tacoma and hence had a tweener court after the early 90's court and before the Finals court.
Considering the circumstances (you know, building three eras from scratch), I'm A-OK with how the early 90's and 80's Sonics court came out.Comment

Re: All classic courts
Curious and genuine question. Can’t you still just create them yourselves? I saw some pretty well done courts and branding already done by the community. I think the rockets one you are talking about though is tough as it was unique right?
@vdusen - good call they played in Tacoma Done for 2 years I believe. I haven’t looked for the coliseum court yet but again there were tons of Sonics courts in the upload area. I’ll have to go sim ahead to see which ones are missing for Sonics. I was shocked to see the Kindome court in 83! Pretty cool! Too bad not in a dome though. But I loved those 87 years and that floor!Basketball Playbooks

I was refering the 80's court as the kingdome (https://www.flickr.com/photos/817915...7632177646900/)
And the seattle center colliseum
(https://www.flickr.com/photos/817915...7632177646900/) should be user in the Jordan era and was used as soon as 1985Comment

Re: All classic courts
You can make passable versions provided you can find proper png files, but the toolbox is just too limited to recreate art like the Rockets blast off or Hornets honeycomb. Another issue is that user assets are tied to the 2k servers which means that they will inevitably go poof.Comment

Re: All classic courts
Ah, I appreciate the clarification there. If the other poster is me, here what I meant :
I was refering the 80's court as the kingdome (https://www.flickr.com/photos/817915...7632177646900/)

So if I understand it right there might be a touch of what's going on with the 1980's Pistons, too then? Where they're playing on the Palace floor in '83 despite the Palace not opening until '88?Last edited by VDusen04; 09-10-2022, 08:57 PM.Comment

Re: All classic courts
That 2nd pic is 1 I love! So that’s not in? I can see how that couldn’t be replicated as the text stretches at half court. If the other poster is me, here what I meant :

That kindome is sweet too and not accurate in game is it? I just saw the kingdome on it but never looked to see if it was accurate but I’d think that floor would be easy to replicate though with that image.Basketball Playbooks

Ya for sure. I figured that with those examples and can see the issue with Sonics coliseum floor as well. You can make passable versions provided you can find proper png files, but the toolbox is just too limited to recreate art like the Rockets blast off or Hornets honeycomb. Re: All classic courts
When Chicago played at Seattle on 11/22/91 the game was played at the Kingdome. The court in the game reflects the accurate court at the kingdome. Look it up. It’s on YouTube
They most likely don’t have the Seattle center coliseum in the game because Chicago didn’t play there in 1991-92 and 1991-92 is the focal season for the Jordan Era. So if we go on this logic then 2k got the court right. But overall yes I’d rather see the Seattle center coliseum court instead.
Furthermore, I’d like to say that this is my first post on OS in about 100 years. The Era game modes brought me back. Before now I have been playing all of Portlandblazer’s classic rosters on NBA 2k11 & 2k12 for the last 10 years. Portlandblazer remember him??? Best classic NBA roster editor of all time in my humble opinion. Finally in February 2022 my last Xbox 360 broke and here I am considering buying this gameLast edited by GaryT531; 09-10-2022, 08:06 PM.Comment

Re: All classic courts
Good stuff! The Sonics played at coliseum that year. That game was for a big game to sell more tickets and get more seats for Jordan & Bulls. You could be correct in your theory. When Chicago played at Seattle on 11/22/91 the game was played at the Kingdome. The court in the game reflects the accurate court at the kingdome. Look it up. It’s on YouTube
