No it's not.. the CPU teams will be fatigued during the playoffs and you'll see players playing out of position and players leaving and never coming back.

It's better during the season, but far from fixed.

Interesting…..my first postseason went off without a hitch…gonna keep my eye on that as I go into my second post season this week.

It’s amazing how stagnant this franchise is. I was playing madden 16 on PS4 the other day and it was a better franchise experience.

Shame, madden used to be really fun. Now it’s tedious.

Odd. I've played multiple playoff games with none of that happening to the AI.

Let me start off by saying I am not a Madden basher. There are things I don't like but in general I more than get my money's worth each year. I spend 95% of my time on online franchise mode. I really enjoy the online experience of 32 people building teams and playing games

That said, this Madden 23 game is by far the worst online franchise experience I've had and I've been playing online franchise since the inception on PC (whenever that was.....20 years ago?).

Issues:
**For the 2nd year in a row we have a bug where only 31 humans can be in league. We have to have a cpu team which shouldn't happen.

**It is nearly impossible to spend any time doing tasks such as depth chart, free agents, looking at rosters as users keep getting booted to main menu.

**Tasks aren't saving. I've had to do training 3X in week 1. I've had to do progression multiple times week 1. I've had to re-do my cuts and signings in week 1. (As a note we are in week 1).

**Depth chart not saving. I set it 4 times before game. Looked good each time but doesn't save amd to manually do it during game 1.

**We had one of our league games played on rookie instead if All-Madden due to a bug. League settings didn't apply.

I've also heard about other various bugs. But these are just killers to me. They are things that have worked okay for years. Hoping for fixes but no acknowledgement by EA and the 31 user bug has been here for the last 2 Maddens.

The gameplay is at an acceptable level for me (there are things I dont like such as tackle battles and I think the super jump of LB/CB is back a bit....but I can deal with that stuff). But this total mess of an online franchise mode is sucking the enjoyment out of the game for me.

I remember back to the early online franchise PC days when we were on dial up internet and a separate PC was needed as a server for everyone in the league to connect to that there were some issues......but this may be worse than that was 20 years ago.

Quick cutaways was in NCAA Football 14, and Madden at no point thought that would be a good idea to adopt, at least try it out. It's just a shame period.

Madden 25 is still on my rotation along side NCAA 14. I like the on field action in Madden 23, but the lack of any attention paid to the franchise mode has lead me to not even consider it this year. When it comes to gamepass, i'll spend some time with it. I can care less about scouting being that I can edit players as I see fit. I just hate the fact that once you edit a draft class, there is no more draft storyline. I would like to edit a bottom tier player on a small school and watch him rise in the draft due to his newly found skillsets - no dice. The same player faces for create a player after all of these years? The same relocation team names and uniforms. Its borderline offensive to see this after all of these years.

EA has said multiple times that they want to expand Relocation and Team Creation, but any and all team branding ideas have to go through the NFL, and they're really picky.

Honestly, a solid 75% of EA's issues with the game are tied to how strictly the NFL holds the leash.

I'm curious why you think Madden 16 has a better franchise? Outside of a better news stories tab, it's the same thing with a bunch of added features.
