How many games setup in MyNBA-era?

Random question, how many games are you guys setting up your season in era mode? If you want to experience multiple seasons and draft classes, the full experience, it’ll be impossible to play 82 game seasons + playoffs if you don’t want to simulate.

I either play 22 game with 12 min quarters or 82 game with 6 min quarters with stats/minutes to reflect 12 minutes. I have gone back and forth over the years. Currently I'm doing 82 and 6. I can't do 82 and 12, I'd get bored and I don't like to simulate.

82. Just like real players in the league about halfway in im really tired of it. I do the all star break, take a week off and come back.

I like to do the ones that range from 22-29 games. 5 minute quarters, played entirely. For the playoffs, I vary it up quite often, but right now I'm doing 3-3-3-3

I struggle with starting over quite often and settling for the 14 game seasons due to a desire to get to the playoffs. I'm working on that though. 29 is my preference because I like to play everyone at least once a season.

82 game season for accuracy
I play one game against every team with my main team and one game as every team for a total of 44-58 games depending on Era and sim the rest

82. Just like real players in the league about halfway in im really tired of it. I do the all star break, take a week off and come back.

Aren’t the stats and scores extremely jacked up when you do this?

I go 58 on 6 min and 3 game playoff series, I play every game. I’m thinking of finding a system to sim some this year though so I can go deep.

Most seasons I’ve completed was six a few years back.

I’ve treated my experience as a walk through history more than a traditional franchise mode, so I have a focus team (1984 Pistons) but I’m simming a lot of their games (and every other playoff game). There’s just too many years I want to experience to hunker down and try to play all 82.

No. I set my sliders for realistic shooting pct and scores. I’m averaging 105 and giving up about 90. There’s sometimes wonky individual stats in a game but over the long season it averages out.

You gotta do at least 58 to avoid a ton of major legacy bugs, particularly the season awards freeze and the offseason auto-sim. I'd love to do the 26/29, but I prefer a stable experience over all else.

I just started a 29 regular season game franchise in the Jordan era since I want to experience multiple years and draft classes in MyNBA-era. So far liking this idea since now every game is important to make it to the playoffs too.

I wish I had the same time I had when I was a younger to play all 82 games + playoffs and multiple years but now that I’m in my late 30s I simply don’t have that time unfortunately.
