    Is anyone good at creating accurate playbooks for old team?

    Is anyone good at creating accurate offensive and defensive playbooks for old teams?

    That playbook is there and is called Run Heavy and/or Run Balanced.

    Other than that you should make your own custom playbook with ZERO shotgun formations. Or the pistol or any other new age recent football player formations. Only run and pro formations with some spread formations. The only team in '69 that had shotguns was maybe Dallas. But i really dont think they had that until 1972 or 1973 when Roger showed himself as the starter and they traded Craig Morton. that really might have been closer to 1974 before the Shotgun showed up with Landry. Either way, you need the traditional formations. period.

    And as the season progresses, you'll upgrade your XP into POWER with your OL and not AGILITY like you would do in today's football stratagey. I would also look for a FB or a power hb you can utilize as a fb.
