NBA2k23 PS5 1995-1996 Jordan Era Scenario

Psn: vinnyvegas28.
Credit to base roster 1991 XvClutchOz and 1992 draft class. Credit to several cap makers and draft class makers as I combined for bunch of players.
Scenario has expansion teams raptors and grizzlies. Contracts are not done. I had to turn off salary cap to make all the trades and signings. Coaches are all accurate names. The raptors got Phil Jackson in the simulated off-season of 1994. So when I tried to fire him and re sign him to Chicago, they didn't have enough money for offer. So I had to edit a generic coach instead. The real Phil is a free agent coach. Don't know how to get him back on bulls. Maybe someone knows. You can turn salary cap back on if you desire. Should have all missing players for each team and rosters are playoff ready rosters. A few starting lineups may need adjusting..enjoy

I know, there has to be a way to get him on bulls again..just haven't figured it out yet. Will let you know if I find the workaround

Thank you! The one thing I noticed is that Sasha Danilovic is not on Heat roster - he was even a starter in most games he played that season.

If you go to make a trade there is a player finder. He may be a free agent. I remember seeing his name somewhere in that roster.

Try plummeting his attributes and badges then he’ll sign for less. Also maybe firing other staff. Then just give him back his attributes when he’s on the team.

The real Phil is in coaches for hire..my bulls budget will not allow me to hire a head coach over 2.86 million per year.. Phil requests at leat 3 million per year. I will try to sign him to a team, edit the attributes and then see if that drives his price down. I even tried to edit his contract low, then fire him and he still reverts back to same ask price..if the attribute idea works, I will let you know.

Thanks for the tip. Here is what I did, control the raptors, fire Malone, hire Phil Jackson, edit his attributes from 99 to 60 for all of coaching attributes, then edit his badges from hof to unequipped. Then fire him, hire Malone back to raptors, switch to bulls..edit current coach name to whatever and fire him, hire the real Phil Jackson and edit his ratings back to 99 and badges back to HOF..took me about 5 minutes to do this and now we have the real cyberface Phil Jackson back on the bulls.. problem solved thanks to AIRJ23.

That's what I did but I used Doug Collins and did exactly what you did now Phil with his attributes and all are on the bulls

Hey man, great work! I enjoyed this concept so much that I had a go at fixing player contracts and updating starters/rotations for each team. Not 100% perfect since there were a few player contracts (particularly the big money ones with amounts > $8m) that were impossible to replicate, plus setting rotations is somewhat of an art that required some judgment.

Not 100% perfect since there were a few player contracts (particularly the big money ones with amounts > $8m) that were impossible to replicate, plus setting rotations is somewhat of an art that required some judgment.

Cool, thanks man After my first play test, I realized a few teams were running 1960s plays and some 2000s plays so I reset the playbooks and gave each team their most recent 90's playbook. Perhaps not the best solution, but it's a solid start and really helps to maintain the 1990s feel/aesthetic.

In terms of other stuff that I think that could use some fine tuning, I think some player ratings can be reassessed based on actual player performance in the 95/96 season since presumably the current ratings are just based on starting ratings from the 91/92 season + succeeding draft classes with the 2k progression system left to fill the gaps in between?

Agreed. Player ratings are not my strength. I adjusted a few tweaks here and there along with some tendencies ...I didn't touch playbooks..more so just wanted to get all the players on their teams so we can each take our path.
