How do you"get rid of injuries" in play now? I didn't know you could do that. I don't play seasons or mygm if that's what it's called

you have to edit the roster. edit the player, under "vitals" is "injury 1 type" and you just change that from the injury to "healthy". i just timed it and it took 15 seconds to do one player. a couple mins to do the whole roster probably. incredibly easy.

Great job with the roster. It’s obvious you guys put a ton of work into these. I have noticed that in simulated games teams are getting a ton of offensive rebounds. I’ve seen over 30 a few times. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining. It’s just my personal preference. Can I do a global edit and bring those numbers down a bit? How much do you guys suggest? I’ve tried lowering the offensive rebounding slider and raising the defensive but didn’t have much luck. Thanks again for all the work you guys put in. You’ve made the game better for all of us.

On series X roster every player is equipped with Limitless range Badge was this intentional? It’s bothering my OCD. Does anybody have a word on this?

All players with at least 65 3pt have the limitless badge equipped. Player can shoot a couple feet behind the line with no real problems, while on 2K every shot that's not really close to the line will result in a miss almost every time.

The limitless range bagde help us solving this issue while creating more realism

To be clear, if you do a global edit you'll sacrifice gameplay for sim stats. We do our best but for some things we have to choose between gameplay and sims (another example is assist). We already removed all the rebounding badges and our numbers are way better than default but they give us limited room to work. It's up to you

Waiting for the jerseys would have delayed the rosters for like 2 months, our goal is always to give you guys the roster as soon as possible, so every year we start to working on it since day one.

Today I started a save with the Spurs using these rosters, but the draft picks that were traded over the last offseason don't seem to be with the right teams. For example the Hawks still have the firsts that they traded for Murray, and the Jazz don't have any of the picks they got for Gobert/Mitchell. Is this a known bug, or you guys think there is an issue with my game?

draft picks don't get saved or edited with rosters. you have to do all that yourself. the only other possibility is if someone uploads a scenerio with all the correct picks already completed.

Quick question- This roster removes and re-assigns a lot of badges. After the first season, do all badges get re-instated for each player by the computer or does it dynamically add badges throughout the years?

                          Thanks!

If it's anything like previous 2Ks, badges are totally wrecked in the offseason; half the league suddenly has 100 badges again and you basically have to do your own ATD-ish badge overhaul after that.

I built a Badge Generator last year precisely for this reason (see screenshots), so that every offseason after the game destroys my badges, I can quickly go through and get them back in shape. It works by taking a player's attributes and a user-defined badge configuration (i.e., which badges to include/omit from the roster; I included ATD as a preset), then analyzing the player's attributes and assigning badges based on the player's OVR and specific strengths.

(EDIT: You can see there's a little side feature too that factors the player's coach into the badge calculation. Just wanted to make coaches matter a little bit more, since at least in old-gen they never really mattered much. Not sure if that's changed on new-gen, but this feature is/will be optional. There is/will be a full mode, a lite mode, and then an option to turn it off.)

It's infinitely quicker to use the generator on PC where you can very easily transfer data in and out of the game, but the generator doesn't actually communicate directly with the game (you have to paste into it, then paste its output into 2K) so it could theoretically be used by console players; it would just be impractically tedious IMO. There will be a 2K23 version eventually.
