Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Which version of The Show are you playing on Steam Deck? Unfortunately, none were for the PC, so I am presuming emulation, but I am having problems getting anything newer than 10 running on SD.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Darn you Acer...They've got a Nitro 5 w/ the 3060 Mobile for the same thing I paid for this 1650 Mobile 2 years ago. I'm so tempted to buy it. Main benefit would be much better performance with RPCS3. MUCH better I'm sure. LOLF-L-O-R-I-D-A! S-T-A-T-E! Florida State! Florida State! Florida State! Wooooo!Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Putting this in both the steam PC and Build a PC threads hoping someone here can help me with an issue I am having.
I have a three monitor setup. The middle monitor is my main monitor on my PC. It is connected via DisplayPort. That same monitor also connects to my Xbox Series X via HDMI. Often, but not every time, when I play on my Xbox, Windows will decide that my main monitor is no longer active and will switch from a 3-screen setup to a 2-screen setup making the monitor on my right the main display now.
Is there a setting that can stop this from happening? My monitor has Deep Sleep options for both inputs. It's disabled on both. Did not fix the issue. I have my displays set to never go to sleep in Windows. That did not fix the issue. What's strange to me is this doesn't happen every single time I am playing my Xbox. One night I'll play 3 games of Madden over the course of 2 hours and Windows never switches up the displays. Then the next night I'll be on the Xbox for 5 minutes and Windows switches to a 2-screen setup.
There has to be some setting I can toggle to prevent this from happening, no?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I actually just bought the Lenovo Legion 7. It has 32GB RAM and a Radeon RX 6850M. The RAM was my main thing that I wasn't willing to budge on, as I use it more for video and graphic design than gaming anyway. It has managed to run everything I have thrown at it with no issues at all. I'm somewhat clueless when it comes to dealing with hardware, having only upgraded my own RAM previously on an HP gaming laptop that I upgraded to 32GB to be able to handle editing workloads, so I just went with what Lenovo was offering because everything they had listed matched what I was wanting or wishing for in the moment.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
It has handled everything I've thrown at it with ease. I don't really play games on it by itself, as I prefer to have it hooked to the display I bought with it, which is a 34" UQHD Samsung. It's out of this world compared to my old setup.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Been gaming on my new PC the last couple months and it is 10x better than console, so glad I made the jump. 3080ti/5900x combo that I finally finished, with the Alienware QD-OLED monitor.
Im looking for another monitor or two though for when I play F1 and eventually get into iRacing... Should I get a 49" ultrawide and move the Alienware to right above it, or get two 27" monitors and put them to either side of the Alienware?PSN / Xbox GT - BLUEnYELLOW28Comment

I haven’t experienced a 49 ultra wide yet but have experienced three monitors playing racing games and it was amazing for the time I had on it. It was seemless and rarely noticed the space between monitors. There’s a ton of videos going over this subject that you can look up too to see the difference

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
You guys and your gigantic monitors. I just bought a 32 inch widescreen ASUS that's also curved and it came in last night and I am already in love. First, this thing is huge compared to my two 27 inch monitors. I didn't expect such a size difference. Second, the curve to the monitor feels so natural for my peripheral vision.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
What controllers are you guys using? I been going strong with my ps4 Scuf for a couple years surprisingly but the stick drift is starting to get bad now.
I decided to try out the Razer Wolverine V2 as my main PC controller. I also got a Flydigi Apex 3 to use for tablets/phone mainly but it'll be a good travel controller for whatever I bring with me.Comment
