I downloaded this patch this AM…oddly, i could/did get into my cloud franchise…played a game then postgame…disconnected from servers…weird[emoji2373]

FYI, here's the latest update.
We've narrowed down the issue impacting some Cloud Franchise leagues being unavailable.
In order to address the issue, it will require server maintenance.
We're currently working on the timing of the server maintenance with our teams and will thread an update below.Comment

This has been such a frustrating year to be a franchise player. Just when you think you can play and try and enjoy the game a little, they manage to break it again.
I've lost count how many times since release that franchise has been literally unplayable.Comment

I think being a frustrated franchise player goes way beyond this year.
I wish EA could throw franchise players a bone somehow. Some sort of make rights that isn't mut related. This whole release cycle has been just one giant cluster. Not to mention we have had very little tuning and bug fixes to the mode itself. Just keeping it playable is a challenge right now.

There is one solution to this problem:
Stop buying the game. They don't want you as a customer. They only want people (mostly children) who play MUT and spend hundreds of dollars on packs and microtransactions.
They may say otherwise, but their actions show their priorities.Comment

I think most of us would love to do that but there is no other option, of course. I am a staunch critic of this game, but I enjoyed most of the gameplay during the beta and my trial, so I bought when it was heavily discounted. To me, it was worth it at $35 but never $70. I will never purchase this game at full price again and I used to buy every year. In fact, if this engine is not scrapped, I will never need to buy again as Madden 23 is good to satisfy my NFL fix for the future. Servers down? I don't care. I don't play MUT or Yard. The only thing I miss is the play cool down feature.
