Madden Realistic Sliders for Last Gen And Maybe Current Gen

Been playing madden for awhile, decided to create my own sliders that I feel mimic Sundays. They work on last gen and I think they may work on current Gen. Madden hasn't really changed much.

    *Problems I feel were Solved:
Running the ball isn't unrealistic anymore. NO more unrealstic assist tackle numbers for star defensive players. Realistic Special teams, and star defensive Players stand out. Star Offensive Players Stand out, and RATINGS MATTER

13 min quarters, 15 accelerated clock.
    Injuries: 25
    Fatigue: 61
    Speed: 0

All Penalties at 99 and on except roughing the passer and block in the back. leave it at 50. It gets called way too much if you leave it at 99.

    Player Skill/CPU

    QB Accuracy 39/39
    Pass Blocking 0/0
    WR Catching 39/39
    Run Blocking 0/0
    Fumbles 70/70
    Pass Def Reaction Time 88/88
    Interception 5/5
    Pass Coverage 90/90
    Tackling 58/58

    Special Teams :

    FG Power 50
    FG Accuracy 45
    Punt Power 60
    Punt Accuracy 50
    Kickoff Power 50

I tried a low speed parity slider and it doesn't do much fun r the CPU but it gives users a huge boost. Pursuit angles get wonky but mostly fast players will absolutely dominate regardless of skill or rating. It can work but users really have to control themselves on how they play and really limit their offense. Things like drags, slants, streaks and crossers are cheesy as is and even moreso with a speed slider that low. It's just too easy to take advantage of mismatches.

You’re right but with mine they take into account skill as well as speed. Pass blocking, and run blocking at 0 (1 for cpu) and tackling raised to 58 limits slants and other plays being cheesy. You’re right the user has to play a role but if you play realistically you won’t have to worry about that.

After one game with these it was Browns (me) 27 Dolphins 0

        Browns: 268 total yards, 169 rushing 99 passing 0 turnovers 15 first downs, 7-12 3rd downs 1-1 4th down 3-3 red zone tds, 11 penalties for 156 yards, Time of possession 32:17

Dolphins 251 total yards, 41 rushing, 210 passing
13 first downs, 3-12 3rd downs, 0-2 4th down, 0-2 red zone with 1 turnover on downs and 1 blocked field goal, 8 penalties for 129 yards, time of possession 27:43

        Individual stats:

Browns: Watson 13-20 126 yards 2 td 0 int 3 sacks allowed 18 yards rushing

        Chubb 22 carries 98 yards 1 td
        Hunt 11 carries 51 yards

        Cooper 4 catches 70 yards 1 td 2 drops
        Njoku 4 catches 17 yards 1 drop

        Bryant 2 catches 19 yards

        JOK 7 solo 2 assists 1 sack
Deion Jones 6 solo 7 assists
Greedy Williams 5 solo 1 assist 3 PBU
Myles Garrett and Takitaki 1 sack each
John Johnson 1 int 1 FF

        Dolphins

        Tua 22-30 246 yards 1 int

        Mostert 13 carries 21 yards 3 catches 29 yards
        Gaskin 4 carries 13 yards

        Waddle 5 catches 102 yards 2 drops
        Gesicki 5 catches 51 yards 2 drops
        Tyreek 1 catch 32 yards 2 drops
Trent sherfield 5 catches 28 yards

        Baker 4 solo 7 assists
        Bradley Chubb 2 sacks
Zach Sieler 4 solo 1 sack

My thoughts. Both defenses play tough I had a big kick return to open the game and a big punt return as well. And John Johnson’s int should’ve been a TD but I got stopped inside the 1. So my 3 td drives were short, I didn’t really have any big drives or big plays offensively, a 38 yard pass from Watson to cooper was my biggest play of the game and tua to waddle for a beautiful post corner that beat Greg Newsom for a 41 yard gain was their biggest play. Running is tough, I like it. I’m going to boost the cpu run blocking as I totally shut that down. Their biggest run was a 5 yard run from Gaskin. Too many drops, I don’t mind mine as they were all on big hits. But Hills drops were both wide open untouched drops. One was on a perfectly executed play action pass on 2nd and inches early in the 2nd quarter and I was only up 3-0. They had trips left with Hill in the middle and he ran an out and up. Denzel Ward jumped the out as Tua pump faked and Hill was Open by ten yards as Tua lobbed a perfect 40 yard lob right in stride and he dropped it. Hills other drop was on a slant. I ran press coverage and Hill smoked Newsom off the line and Newsom fell down. Hill had nothing but green grass for 25 yards in front of him and he dropped it.

Surprisingly the pass blocking holds up nice with it set at zero, I had to work to get Garrett’s one sack, takitakis was a well timed delayed blitz and excellent down field coverage. And JOK’s sack was a coverage sack on a play that I had him spying Tua. Tua tucked to run and JOK got him for a 1 yard loss on 3rd and 6. I blocked the field goal that came after with Emerson blazing off the left edge. Barely tipped it and the kick landed harmlessly at the goal line.

So yeah, gonna up the cpu catching and run blocking and go from there. Next game is against the Bills.
I came, I saw, I came again, and then I conquered that broad.

Re: Madden Realistic Sliders for Last Gen And Maybe Current Gen

I’m really liking the offensive challenge, the cpu defensive play and this is the first set of sliders that I’ve actually had special teams play a big part in the game. My defense is too dominant though. Only thru 3 quarters of my second game but I’m totally shutting down the bills right now. 26-3. Josh Allen has thrown 4 picks, is 11-31 for 29 yards and I’ve got 8 sacks. I’m gonna adjust the cpu run blocking up some more, add some cpu pass blocking and probably increase qb accuracy for the computer as well. Thru 7 quarters my browns D is looking like the 86 bears lol.

Positives I see so far. Cpu defense is making me work. I’m gaining most of my ground yards via cut backs. Very few free runs into the secondary. The cpu dbs play aggressive and are making me work in the passing game. And one I’m really happy about is special teams actually matter. I’ve broken two big punt returns this game and had one last game as well.

The only real negative I have is my Defense is dominant. I’ve shutdown Tua and now Josh Allen. Thru 3 quarters the bills have 93 yards of total offense. -13 rushing yards. Every time Allen drops back to pass I’m on him and it’s lead to 4 interceptions, countless tipped passes and passes at his receivers feet.

These sliders are very close to being real good, just some fine tuning and I think they’ll be great.
I came, I saw, I came again, and then I conquered that broad.

So for next game I’ve raised cpu pass block up to 10, run block up to 15. Let’s see how this goes.

Bring on Brady and the Bucs.

Glad to hear you enjoy them. I have a question, what kind of defense do you run? Are you using coach suggestions or are you picking certain plays?

For me, I use coach suggestions and I tend to run defensive plays based on down and distance. Are you using defensive helpers?

I’m the browns first off and I run Andy Reid’s playbook. Multiple fronts, 4-3, 3-4, nickel, big nickel, dime. I like to switch up my fronts. No defensive helpers. For my play calling on offense and defense I have my own little rule on my play calls, I do coach suggestions, but I always pick from the first screen only. Only time I deviate from this is if some ridiculous play calls are on there. Like say I’ve got 4th and 6, down by 6 with 30 seconds left and it pops up a field goal or something else stupid, only then I’ll deviate from the first screen play call.

And with the little I added to the cpu for the bucs, that game was FUN. I won 31-17, but it was close until the end. Brady had the ball with 2 minutes driving for the tying touchdown. 3rd and goal at the 7 yard line with 45 seconds left and I came in with a bull rush with Myles Garrett (who I moved to defense tackle in my big nickel set) and deflected Brady’s pass. It popped up in the air and Denzel Ward swooped in and caught it barely above the ground and went 96 yards for the touchdown. Booth review pops up and not gonna lie I thought for sure it was an incomplete pass. Ward barely kept it off the ground and the play stood.

Now I’m playing the Texans and they are literally playing old school keep away football. Midway thru the second quarter and Pierce has 23 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown. They’ve attempted 2 passes, both completed, and both to Pierce out of the backfield. One a 7 yard screen pass and the other a 19 yard dump out to the flat that he literally killed JOK, out for the game with a bruised lung. Pierce trucked him, and that’s an understatement. They both were running close to full speed when they met, and JOK definitely took the L on that meeting.
