This program is so broken right now...I was just glad they salvaged a field goal out of the last drive to avoid losing the shutout streak. I'm a CBN fan, but he really has to turn this around and show serious progress next year."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. So does this mean Oregon State would be one of the best teams in the SEC? I was once told we can definitely use transitive property in college football.

Wait…are you implying Florida is even close to a top tier SEC team right now? We just broke a 14 game losing streak in conference…we lost to Vandy.

Re: 2022 Bowl Season Discussion Thread
Yes applying the transitive property in college football bowls when teams have 30+ players out is the same thing as the committee using transitive property for the entirety of it's existence and what voters basically had to do in the BCS era.

Re: 2022 Bowl Season Discussion Thread
Voters in the room use the transitive property and have since it's inception. Period.
Voters during the BCS era used the transitive property all the time. Period.
Voters often-times put teams that lost a close head to head above the team they lost to, again because of the transitive property.
It's a part of college football whether you agree with it or not and has been going back as long as anybody can remember, period, full stop.
If you don't like it or agree with it, that's one things. Acting like it hasn't been this way for 100 years is another.Golf: Bubba

Dunno why you can't get over this point, it's pretty cut and dry.

The original discussion was you using transitive property to act like certain schools from the middle ranks of the SEC were better than the top schools in other conferences. All I said was there is plenty of data out there that shows transitive property really does not apply to sports all too well. You disagreed.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

This was never what the discussion was about. I never once argued that people didn't use transitive property.

Arkansas absolutely went into chicken **** mode and almost choked the game away, but the pro-Kansas officiating was pathetic, between not overturning the non-fumble and the BS “targeting” call in OT.Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment
