How do I relocate scouts? I’ve tried googling this and can’t find anything.

Not really a relocation option per say, but you set your scouts during week one, and choose their position focus in week 2 or 3. Once that is set, I am pretty sure you cant touch it after.

Unfortunately you cannot move/fire/hire after the first week. I missed it this season like a goof and I'm stuck with how it's set.

Good news is scouts are useless. What I do is just set it at auto scout then at the end of season I pick my favorites based on my weakness. Trust me you get plenty of info by end of season on a prospect to decide if you want him or not rather they have been scouted or not

Thanks for the responses. It’s unfortunate that the game tells you that you have a position mismatch in the region but you can’t relocate your scout. Not a big deal to me, I’m having a blast with madden 23.

Scouts are useful for later round picks.

Are you asking about moving them during week 1 or afterwards once they are already set?

after they’re set. It tells me I have a position mismatch and that I should relocate or hire a new scout. I can’t do either of those.

You need to set that up during week 1. Go through the region breakdown and make note of strengths. Then go to manage scouts and hire/fire as needed. Once you go to week 2 it’s locked in.
