    Older 2K Titles

Does anyone else have a specific 2K they have for Franchise mode? I still buy the new titles for MyCareer but when I need my Franchise fix I fire up 2K10. I may have to finally put it aside though and have 23 as my go to because MyEras is amazing.

I go back to 2K14 (ps4) version. The gameplay is solid and the graphics/lightning are insane til this day!

Ah man.. I bought some older 2ks just for the different things they have.

2k17 Xbox One - US v World Summit game (Use it for my Nike Summit game for my HS)

2k22 Xbox One - Use this for my HS Save

2k10 360 - NBDL save (One that has Utah Flash and Thunderbirds)

2k16-2k17 360 - Euroleague saves, each one has different teams than the other.

Yeah Im addicted to franchise lol

2k19 is still my favorite for MYGM , aside from all the silly conversations you have to have. It's still the best experience for what I'm looking for in of mix of game play & GM mode.

Trying to enjoy 23 next gen but it hasn't hit the same yet.

College Hoops 2k8, no contest! Still waiting for the marriage of that system and newer gameplay.

2K11 on my 360. That game is still the best basketball video game I've ever played.

2K8, '10, '11 and '14 all have franchises that I am currently immersed in. All 4 games hold up very well.

All previous versions of 2K were deleted for me since 2K23. Unless 2K does something incredible for 2K24, I’m hard pressed to find a reason to buy the next 2K installment

I’m planning on doing the same. I put way too much time to get this one right in terms of rosters and tweaks and putting up with gameplay changes/bugs during new 2K cycles is too stressful. Plus let’s be honest, you can have just as much fun on 12 year old 2K’s as new ones. It’s a basketball game. Doesn’t need to be new especially if you’re into classic players. Plus as a Jordan fan 2K23 will always be legendary and it’s my favorite yet.

Agree, all old 2Ks are out like outgrown clothes. If they weren't digital I'd donate them to a good home. 2K23 even surpasses 2K11 in my opinion. Im good for the foreseeable future unless 2K outdoes themselves next year.

If I didn't lose my copy, that would have been my game of choice over 2k10 lol. One thing about 11 that drove me nuts was the goal tending injury bug. So many times I would go too early for a rebound and wind up with an ankle sprain.

Played 2k20 franchise mostly until myeras this year. I love it, just wish/ hope we get year to year saves to keep it going, since I like to play myteam also.

Last week I decided to go back to some older titles. Played a lot of 2K18 and started tweaking sliders and editing my old roster file.

But then I decided to reinstall 2K15, and was having so much fun with it, that I decided to keep playing it. The problem is that my old roster file got corrupted and I have to play with the default rosters. So I've been doing lots of edits to my new roster file (based on the default roster) and now I am considering to go ahead and start making each transaction - all the way to the 2015 trade deadline.

I don't think I have ever updated a roster file this much (usually use other people's rosters with some minor edits), and it will take a long time, but I may go for it...all transactions from July 20, 2014 all the way to February 2015.

In the meantime I play a full game (12 min) of 2K15 almost every night and really enjoying it. You can see how far gameplay has come when you play these old titles. Yes, it has some slidings and some other issues, but the fun outweighs these issues and that's what it's all about.
                              My Specs:

                              ZX Spectrum
                              CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
                              GPU: Monochrome display
                              RAM: 48 KB
                              OS: Sinclair BASIC
