Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Do most of the 80’s / 90’s players have updated faces now? I’m planning to get a ps5. I remember some like Jason Kidd (way too old) needed new faces.

1986-87 at a glance.
Moses' first year in Washington. Adrian Dantley's first in Detroit.
Some anachronism in the rafters.
Terence Stansbury's last hurrah.
The final season of mop top Chris Mullin.
The arrival of Dennis Rodman.

Little interesting tidbit:
The Spurs drastically redesigned their court art four times in five years in the late 80's, a super rarity considering most teams rolled with their court art for the better part of a decade back then.
2K only has two of the HemisFair designs but I updated the strangest edition of the four in time for the 1987-88 season.

As an aside, while I'm generally running accurate seasons, it's been interesting trying to figure out what to do with the handful of historical crossroads I cross each year. One of my alternate reality decisions stems from the pic above. Turns out the Navy decided David Robinson served them better by going straight to the league rather than trying to squeeze aboard a submarine for two years.Last edited by VDusen04; 01-15-2023, 08:41 PM.Comment

I am still working on perfecting the jerseys… its still need some tweaks and all lol
They are almost there though but the thing with these is that you have to see how they are while they are in gameComment

Is there any way to get a younger Scottie Pippen into MyEras? The draft I used gave me a goateed, stronger looking Pippen.
I tried exporting the early 90's version but when I import him on top of the older Pippen it doesn't change his look.
Any advice?Comment

So I guess your setback right now is figuring out how to get that young Pippen dna into your roster at all since he isn’t there to “steal” dna from yet.Comment

So, after tinkering with the interior defense boost for two awful games, I just followed that up with what may have been the best game of 2K I've played in at least 10 years ('88 SuperSonics vs. '88 Hawks).
First off, I was up two with 10 seconds left and this is what the CPU Hawks drew up.

That led to OT where Atlanta pushed their lead out to two possessions before back-to-back Dale Ellis threes closed the gap.
Then in the second overtime, Ellis pulled on Randy Wittman again, at which point I was informed that he'd broken the NBA's single-game 3-pointers made record (at the time), by hitting his ninth.
Atlanta wouldn't go away and held a two-point lead with 15 seconds left. I desperately tried to manually intentional foul but failed successfully after Nate McMillain picked Doc Rivers' pocket and called time-out, which ultimately led to this.

My only regret is leaving a second on the clock because I love the beauty of a proper buzzer-beater. But I hung on for a satisfying win and didn't check the box score until the post-game, at which point I realized Dale Ellis had finished with 53 points and 10-of-16 threes (about six more than I'd made with anyone else in MyEras). Wilkins finished with 45.
I found it all to be a neat little parallel to what Ellis did in real life in '89, when he scored exactly 53 points in a quintuple overtime loss to the Bucks in which he played 69 minutes. Wild box score that night. https://www.basketball-reference.com...911090MIL.html
So, shout out to the Silent Assassin.

Stepped away from the game for a bit. But can you not do a quick play game with a custom eras roster?Comment
