I also wondered if there was a chance they were pushing for something like that at launch. With how common game patches are nowadays, I’d be surprised with a two week delay just for bugs.

Seems to be to allow for 2023 course designs. So sounds like the new Augusta updates will be in the game.

I hope it is just for course updates.

Sounds like it, but that would be nice if they'd have 3-click ready by then, too. They said it would come in an "early" title update, so maybe it'll be good to go?

This is kind of a bummer. In grand scheme it is only a few weeks after waiting an extra year....but seems odd regardless. Why not just issue a patch for the updates? They are already basically saying it is a live service game with future courses and features being patched in so it seems odd that they need to delay release for some updates.

                  Not surprised at all...

Really would like to see some unedited gameplay here soon...that's longer than 2 minutes.

It's time to show the game off and what we have to look forward to.

I’m thinking Augusta might have had a huge say in this. They’d want people to see the most accurate replica of the course. If I remember, they were pretty particular with tiger woods 12-14. 2 weeks is not a big deal.

Hopefully this doesn't delay their roadmap to show career mode and a playthrough of the Masters (maybe show a different course if they are working on the 2023 designs). I know all of us just want to see raw gameplay.

Hopefully this includes 60fps mode for the console players too.

What a strange slight delay with so little time left.

                        Wonder what that’s really about

Disagree with this. Delay it by 6 months if it means we get a better golf sim in the end.
Nothing worse than a botched release with multiple patches.

What I will say is it indicates gameplay changes if it requires delay. They wouldn’t hold the game back to edit courses, I’m not buying that.

I also hope this means there is a chance add the 2023 redesign of the par 3 course at Augusta. I shared a bit back in another thread that the scan they showed of Augusta did include the area the par 3, so here's to hoping it is added.

                              I agree.

Augusta had to have been finished and perfect ages ago given the launch window for this game and it’s target and branding, etc
