Countdown to Show 23 (March 28)

thought I'd do a combo countdown/poll type thread thingy instead of just one or the other.
I haven't given up on getting the game Friday March 24
but it's looking more & more possible I'll be delayed until Tuesday March 28.
either way, gonna be a great spring, summer & fall.
good luck this season to everyone (even you Dodgers, Phillies & Mets fanatics lol)
    & HAPPY BASEBALL!!!

          lol
once March 30 gets here, I hope their luck ends

Kershaw & Mookie went fishing together during the off-season
          and after awhile became separated.
Mookie then saw Kershaw on the other side of the river and yelled over to him
"how do you get to the other side?"
Kershaw then yelled back "you ARE on the other side"

If some reason Microsoft servers goes down you won’t be able to play MLB The Show 23. Something to think about!

Why can’t MLB The Show add coaches arguing bad calls and outs. Meaning you get a cut scene of your manger coming out the dugout arguing. That’s a good way too boost your team ego and could potentially give your team the edge even if the manger was thrown out. I don’t think it would give a negative effect on sales if they added that cut scene. Actually it should boost sales on the authenticity it would bring that could effect a close game. Managers NEED to have their real life behaviors in the game. It’s definitely not a bad influence on the kids crowd of buying the game. Kids need to know your coach will ride for you ONLY if he or she THINKS you’re correct about a call or a concern. It will bring so much needed authentic to MLB The Show 23. Kids has seen so much worse.

They do have a cut scene occasionally showing the manager yell at the ump after a bad call. But it doesn’t do anything with the game.

Would be nice to have the meter return from 15 years ago where if you max out the ump can eject the manager. And after that the AI would handle your bullpen usage. But that is when they were better at handling the bullpens.

Would be cool to do like a team mood that could give your team a boost or a penalty. Like if you have to travel across the country without an off day it affects the stamina for the players and makes them more tired.

If you lose like 5 games in a row your team is in a bad mood and affects their game play.

Sometimes in real life when a manager gets mad and argues with the umps it sometimes fires up the team.

I recently posted elsewhere MLB should let the Studio do something like this but tastefully and respectfully.
mgrs. and players could come running up to umps with a full head of steam but then be shown doing nothing more than pleading their case calmly.
keep your mgr. or player engaged w/umps too long though and you get the heave-ho. go back to the dugout too early, umps lose respect and close call balls and strikes go against you.
but manage to hit the sweet spot and the close calls go your way
