While I'll enjoy this in Diamond Dynasty for sure, I wish we could have a full on World Baseball Classic mode offline, like FIFA's World Cup update offered. While it was relatively bare-bones, at least it was there.

My understanding is Konami has the license for the tournament itself, which is unfortunate because their baseball game is only available in Japan.

Lame af. I couldn't care less for anything in DD. Add it to Franchise, RTTS, or a standalone tournament to get my interest. Yet another game revolving around DD. What a shocker.

I'm excited for a 99 Trea turner on day 1... Hoping the wbc stuff has quirks

I think I used Trea like 3 years ago and was awesome but past two years I've been working on parallels or there were other SS I didn't want to take out... I really haven't given him much use past two seasons

Will these WBC players (Roki specifically) be available in Franchise Mode?

Will we be able to sign Roki as a free agent?

This is due to a licensing issue, nothing more. The developers can't put real players from other leagues into MLB modes because said player is not part of the MLBPA until they sign with an MLB team and agree to join the union. So the only way we'll see Roki, Murakami, etc. appear in franchise this year is if they get posted, sign, and appear in a MLB game (not going to happen this year btw).
