Hey y'all, just got 2k23 yesterday and read through all of the work - wow! It sounds awesome and I can't wait to try out a few of these rosters. Question - trying to set up an online league, but would like it to include at least the 23 draft class - is there a way to do that? I know you can import a draft class if you're doing an offline myleague, but haven't been able to figure out a way to do this for online. Was wondering, maybe there's a scenario that would have all of the correct rosters AND a draft class, would that work? Thanks for all of your help and all of these creations!

MJWIZARDS 91 roster is probably what you want, i just make draft classes, but they're in my 87 and 84 draft classes if you're looking for those, as soon as i can figure out how to upload them, im still having issues

You cant use custom rosters for Play Now Eras. You can only use custom rosters in the normal Play Now with the default classic teams, all-time classic teams and the current teams.

is anyone having issues with the new shoes? i added the nike air ships to a bunch of guys in the 80s draft classes and they're not showing up when they get to the nba. wish i could figure out a way to get and1s and filas in there too for marbuary/hill/carter

do you have a formula you use for players stats or even just overalls/potential? im trying to build draft classes based on your eras rosters

Potential i usually go with real life results you know, so a future All-Star player will have a high potential while a backup center a low potential like 70.
For overalls i just try to respect the season results + my NBA knowledge

Trying to post for a third time now…. I created a draft class for PS5 based on the NBA 75 team!

Class name: NBA75 and/or NBA75Mod

Notes and recommendations for use:

• The draft class has 72 total hall of fame level rookies, mostly matching up to the NBA 75 list
• Some players have been substituted (mostly newer guys for some of the older guys, a couple of ‘what ifs’, but for the most part it’s the NBA 75 list)
• The NBA75Mod class has many older players with updated accessories/shoes so they don’t stand out as much
• If using this draft class, I *highly* recommend expanding the league to 36 teams before starting
• Recommend removing players from the roster that are in the draft class, so you don’t have duplicates
• Recommend turning off previously traded picks before starting your MyNBA, and also controlling all teams when rookie signing period starts to make sure all CPU teams sign their 2nd round picks
• Recommend making drastic changes to the salary cap and contract sliders to make sure no one goes unsigned once the rookie contracts expire
• Recommend reducing overall progression rate in the progression sliders, and also reduce Mid Range and 3pt progression rate, otherwise every ‘great’ will end up at 99 3pt shooting, because 2k is like that

For players who didn't have a draft class, I "made" them by adjusting their attributes down based on their careers. Players of the past usually came into the league "NBA Ready" so I generally set their peak age a bit earlier than rookies of more recent classes.



All players are between 19-21, to better keep the "class" together through the years.

Anybody have any suggestions for how to create a realistic re-sim starting from 1983 onwards? My problem is that I'm on Xbox and draft classes are very inconsistent. Doesn't seem like one user has them all - outside of Jarcanine, but the peak/growth phases are all messed up. Guys like David Robinson are declining after a single year.

NICE! like i said, i've been cleaning yours up, pulling in any players i can find on mjwizards rosters, removing badges entirely and rerating players overall and potential based on a couple formulas i came up with based on draft position and career win share. based on the sims i've been tinkering with it seems to work and guys gain badges as they go

i'll upload 1984 after i finish this game im playing but im having a hard time uploading 1985 and 1986 for some reason. any ideas? it just freezes at the checking for foul language screen

You are only allowed a certain number of names that aren't in the game. I think the limit is 7. For some reason when you have over that the foul language freezes happens. That's why I'm missing some guys. Only way I could get it posted.

I found this site for creating lesser known guys in drafts. That's an example of Dan Godfread from the 1990 draft. It isn't a 0-99 scale so I haven't figured out how to equate their ratings to 2k. Someone else might able to figure it out. Each draft has everyone with their pre-draft ratings. Might be good reference material. Hope it helps.
