at the very least, make created stadiums able to replicate domes better than currently.
I'd love to be able to eventually play in the Kingdome, Astrodome and Olympic Stadium

I want Qualcomm Stadium and to play as the 98 Padres.. imagine if franchise mode was as deep as OOTP that you could start from any year

and while they're at it, it would be great if we could rename stadiums.
I'd love to play in Qualcomm if I could rename it Jack Murphy Stadium

I remember when All-Star baseball had vintage stadiums like Wrigley you could choose from before it was modernized so yeah it would be cool if we had stock stadiums that were similar to vintage ones that didn't need name rights like comiskey

No. You could play as what was modern Wrigley (which was before it was modernized) or a fictional futuristic Wrigley. They also had a fictional Futuristic Fenway but it might have been based on the actual scrapped plans for New Fenway Park.

But they did have classic stadiums and in the case of Ebbets, they got around rights fees by making a "Classic Brooklyn" stadium that was pretty much Ebbets.

I think it's bc they said building a stadium from scratch in the game takes like 3 months or something. I could be wrong but I believe one of the devs said that in here a long time ago.

probably takes more money to get the rights to those stadiums than it did to create create-a-stadium.
plus, with create-a-stadium, we get infinite stadiums rather than just a handful

The majority of us want stadium creator. We'd like more tools to build some of the classics but stadium creator needs to be here to stay.

Ironically, one of the pre-made custom stadiums is clearly intended to be Ebbetts Field.

Kingdome would be cool. But if they're going to bring back any of the old domed stadiums, the first one should be Olympic. Mariners and Astros fans have stadiums to play in. Expos fans don't. That should be the first one (plus, Olympic still stands).

Agreed on the dome template.

A couple of small changes would greatly improve Stadium Creator for retro parks:

- No batters eye option
- An item set that could be configured dimensionally and assign custom color.
- Use the logo feature to allow custom art to be assigned to custom items or outfield walls.
