Hey guys. I’m trying use the MyEras game mode to play out the career of D. Wade with rosters that reflect that time period. And I mean starting from his rookie year, not starting in the 2002 season like how the game makes me. I can’t ever make the season play out the same, so the draft order is always off. Can anyone guide me on how that can be done? Thanks a million.

Is there any way to get notable coaches missing in the Kobe era (like D'antoni or Mike Brown as assistants) into the Kobe era roster?

Your best bet is to create them and save them to the coaching pool in a custom roster before you start your franchise.

From what I see, only ex players show up in the coaching pool as time goes on. Idk why they invest in this MyStaff menu and leave us with such limited options. We should have things like Staff DNA

Hi all,

I've added a related thread titled - NBA 2K23 Xbox Series - 1992-1993 MyEra Rosters

Please read for the details. It will allow you to play 1992-1993 with no work, but 1 year out, when starting the Jordan MyEra, or you'll be able to simulate the first season and will need to add players from the 1992 NBA Draft to accurately play 1992-1993 in year 2.

On 2k23, I would like to know your opinion on visual accuracy of roster downloads which looks amazing. Checking some of the roster DLs, I am stunned at the many creatives didn't look anything like Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, and Rasheed Wallace.

Who are the top names who created accurate faces to Barkley and other NBA legends?

Of course the issue is some CAPs don't look the same in-game as they do in the Edit Player screen. That said:

MJWizards has some good CAPs.

Sterling84 has the best Reggie Miller face I've ever seen.

eko718 has some great CAP faces--along with his other work, his Rasheed Wallace looks like it was an actual face scan (page 3 of the following thread):

After looking at images of every player on a team roster during the Kobe Era for shoe edits, I realized how nice it would be if 2K had the Nike Air Max Chosen since a ton of players wore them in 2002-03.

Thanks for all of the awesome work on these NBA 2K23 rosters and draft classes, everyone! Great community here.

Quick question -- does anyone know of any scenarios with 90's Jordan Era or 2000s Kobe Era rosters that are set to 26/28 game season lengths? I'd like to do a myEra from either the mid-90s (1996/97 is my favorite NBA season) or the early-2000s, but would prefer to play a 26/28 game season since I plan to actually play all games vs. simming. An 82-game season is a bit too long for me to play every game.

If there are no 26/28 game seasons in any scenarios from that era, I assume my next best options are either to:

1. Download a custom roster from the year I want and play out the franchise with the right rosters, just the wrong years (for example, a 96/97 roster would be set in 91/92 if I start a Jordan Era franchise).
2. Start a Jordan Era franchise with 26/28 game season, sim to the 1996/97 season and manually make all trades + update ratings to be accurate for every player. I can use the many great draft classes on here to help populate players, but making all of the trades AND up****** ratings to be accurate (vs. 2K's progressions) would take awhile.

Any other ideas on how best to do this? Thanks.
