    Your First Homer In MLB23?

hate it, but gotta do it:
who'd you first go yard with and get your first tater with in 23?
I didn't enjoy it but in the open Phillies-*stros start up game, first batter Altuve took a 2-2 pitch downtown.
can't wait to see which Brave and Orioles goes deep for me first

Does it count if it was just a quick exhibition game and not in franchise?

Oh no I meant mine. I hit my first HR with Jose Ramirez in a random exhibition game this morning. Wasn't in franchise mode though.

Mookie Betts, 448 ft bomb vs Zack Wheeler/Phillies at Dodger Stadium. It was my very first AB playing the game. Never done that before.

Juan Soto WBC card from the pre-order bonus. Hit it messing around in Conquest Mode in DD.

I decided to skip exhibition games and dive right in to a franchise controlling the Yankees.
The first long ball didn’t come until the bottom of the 10th inning, but the result was worth waiting for.
The Bronx Bombers were facing a 3-0 deficit due to a lackluster effort by the Yankee lineup that was shut down in the first 8 innings of the game. Confidence was at a low in the chances of overcoming the 3 run lead that appeared much larger than it actually was. An apparent carry over from last season. The reliance on the long ball to plate runs cost the Bombers repeatedly in 2022. When homers were a no show the wins were also marked absent. As the end 8th inning came to an end we saw the Yankee HR count at 0 thus it didn’t come as a surprise to me that the Giants held a 3-0 lead heading to the 9th. “Here we go’, i thought to myself. But then……
The game quickly did a 180!!!!
The momentum shifted!! All of a sudden batted balls were dropping as hits and in a New York minute we had a 3 run rally that sent the game into extras.
Clay Holmes did his job stranding the runner at second preserving the 3-3 deadlock as the game was advancing to the home half of the 10th. This set the stage for the dramatic ending of an exciting opening day at New Yankee Stadium. with 2 outs and Bader still standing at 2nd base it seemed that the Yankees were going to also fail to bring home the extra inning placed runner from his 2nd base placed position until Anthony Rizzo took a 2-2 pitch into the right field bleachers for a 2 run dinger giving the New York Yankees a 5-3 walk off win completing the comeback

amedi, ensign A factor of the teamwide offensive struggles in run production while in a home run slump that was 2022’s achilles heal that had plagued them last season carried to push runs across the plate during a power drought in the 8 innings of goose eggs put up by the team...
oh man, that's an excellent epically instant classic.
