Framerate Issues on Old Gen?

Is anyone else on PS4 or Xbox one having any framerate issues? I am constantly seeing low framerates during pitches and it is hard to play at times. Is anyone else seeing this, and if so have you found a work around?

YES. horrific frame rate and lag at all times on PS4. came on here to see if it was just me. monitor is good and I’ve never had issues on past years. Even the tech test did not have this issue

It feels pretty unplayable right now on old gen. Hope they patch it. When trying to swing it feels like 15 fps

Sorry to hear that. I'm not sure why but I think Xbox was having frame rate issues this time last year. Maybe they can patch it

After testing it out, the reduced framerate is only happening to me in franchise. In quick play it is completely fine. Any ideas what setting could be causing the difference?

I have no idea. Could be an issue with the new draft system causing lag idk. Sounds like something they could patch though. Do offline diamond dynasty modes have the reduced framerate?

Same here. I’m on Xbox One S and it’s pretty bad on cut scenes. Hopefully they’ll patch it once it’s fully released.

I noticed framerate and a bit of a lag when I was loading the game and played the default Astros-Phillies match. But after game loaded and I played my first exhibition everything seemed fine and I'm on PS4.

It's horrible and barely playable on Xbox One. I'm seeing a lot of complaints about it. They need to fix it asap.

New patch didn't help much. During post game celebration game there was a slight lag when Giants were congratulating each other after the win.

yeah, I've noticed the longer I play or have the game on for the lag is getting worse. which I guess makes sense, but it feels like I'm playing online which shouldn't happen in Franchise.

Hopefully it's a memory leak that can be patched....
