PGA Tour Modding Community Discord

Hello friends.

Modding has arrived for EA PGA Tour on PC. While it is not fully ready for public access, it will be soon enough. We have to get a few more things working before we can submit a request to merge into the frosty tool suite.

So far we have been able to make edits to gameplay and career mode. We are working on textures and meshes, the former is definitely the tricker part so at least it is working already.

There is so much more to discover and seems like we have quite a bit we can play around with. As always, be patient as stuff is working behind the scenes as quick as possible and we want you guys to be able to get to modding as quickly as we can as well. Please join the discord if you are a discord user to check out progress and to get a community going to make this an awesome game.

Was able to add more events.. just added a 33rd event for testing. Need to go in and make it in the right order and make sure the game calculates points correctly for playoffs still. But this is huge if so. Probably won't post as much on here as far as updates, but will post when everything is ready for those not on discord.

I saw in another thread someone had figured out how to remove the triple bogey max, looking forward to what else the modders can figure out (maybe adjusting tournament number of rounds?)

Wow didn't even think of how modding could remove a lot of the issues we've found thus far! Here's hoping my PC can handle the game so I can take advantage of y'alls great work that you'll undoubtedly do

This is brilliant.
We need the equivalent of fifa editor to get into the games ai.
But we need the keys and software for that.
Don't forget that if people develop hard mods then ea will break them at will as they do with fifa 23.
Soft mods can't be stopped but they can be interfered with as once again ea did with fifa 23.
I design and build my own fifa soft mods. But I gave up after the last update totally broke my locale mod.
That's ea for you.
I won't get into a fifa style cat and mouse game with ea.
I also won't go through the patreon rip off with people charging for monthly updates.
But I'm all for modding the game and it's ai. They ai is broken in this game of course.
I'll get into discord for this

The last post on their discord was back in May. I guess the Modding for this game is done.

Didnt check the comment post date so this may be like months later, but im pretty sure the modding community died because you need to be online to play career mode. Really dumb considering the EA Servers go down quite often.

Assuming that you'd need to go offline much like i need to with Madden 24, i can see why there is like nothing lol. Funny enough, in Frosty there is a PGA Tour option to select so its a bit depressing to learn that this game exists from Frosty and is moddable to finding out that its not possible.
