Fantastic review Bob. If this story was posted before yesterday I wouldn't have even posted my impressions. I agree with almost everything you said.
I don't care for the mini games and challenges personally but I know a lot of people will enjoy them. That's a me thing lol. -

Look at Battlefront 2 and how horrific that launch was, and how it is now. EA can make a turnaround. I think with the eventual addition of 60fps and a lot of bug fixes, I think the same can happen here.Comment

I do hope they fix the ball physics. The rollout is very frustrating, especially in terms of a ball rolling many feet in the rough on a slope then rolling back down into a bunker... First, as a golfer, and a golfer that finds many of my iron shots in the rough, balls do not "roll" 10-15 yards through heavy rough. I can see fairways, I will even say I can give some slack on the first cut or fringes, but heavy rough, this is where the game gets it wrong.
The review posted was excellent. I too find this game visually awesome. I am not having difficulty with swing mechanics, after a couple of rounds, I have it figured out and having very consistent swings, but again, the title needs a patch for the ball physics, other than that, having a ball with daily tourneys and career mode...If you keep bowing down and praising the developers, (NHL series) nothing they give us the consumer will ever be a "finished" product. Take a stand, it is your money!!!.Comment
