    Home crowd reactions

This was a game tying no doubter from Santander at Camden Yards. Lol.

Reactions have been off for years, audibly and visually. Really takes the immersion out the game. Can’t be that hard to code surely? X happens = play this audio file/visual!

Yea - The game has gone down hill - boring home run calls and horrible commentary on PS4 at least and the sliders do nothing on PS4.

I noticed that the crowd in 23 is off. They either don’t react to a home run or are late. They were better in 22.

I just don’t get how there are things that shouldn’t be touched get messed with and get worse while the stuff we want improved don’t get touched.

I don't even think he plays the game at this point. Mute is your friend in his/her case.

You guys are ridiculous. As soon as anyone points out a flaw in this game, you have to come on here and shame them. It's like there's a defense task force for the game and we're governed here or something. I'd assume you wouldn't care if the crowd didn't react to anything? Visual crowd reactions were pretty much dead on in '22. What changed this year?

But FWIW, I absolutely LOVE The Show and always have. It's by far the best sports title year in and out.

If this game was perfect, nobody would be coming on these forums and reporting other bugs and issues, but do you give them any grief for reporting those? Yeah, this isn't necessarily a bug, but it's definitely something that could be easily fixed.

How boring it would be if everyone logged on to these forums and just kept posting how perfect the game is. Smh.

I can confirm this issue. Go back in replay on a home run and you slow motion the crowd, they do not stand up when the ball is hit to watch it go. And when the ball lands, you'll see some fans raise their arms to cheer but it’s delayed by about 5 seconds.

In 22, it was spot on. You’d hear the crowd roar and raise their arms right when the ball landed. Abd they would stand and watch it go.

Hmmm, you must have "created a username and bought The Show just to complain about everything" and probably "don't even play the game".

                  We should mute you.

My home crowd impressed me last night. Centerfielder for astros robbed me of a homerun….dead center. Next time he comes up to bat they boo him…lol. I dont know if it was just a coincidence, but it was pretty cool i thought

I hit a no-doubt HR in a MTO game tonight and a lot of the crowd jumped up and celebrated right away in both the live animation and the automatic replay. The white shirts make it easy to see. I don't know what you guys are experiencing but I don't think it's a universal issue.

My experience as well. I just hit a 3 run homerun with Tommy Edman to put us up in the the 5th inning. What crowd wasn’t standing stood (not all) and they swelled as it was obvious it wasn’t going to be caught and roared as it barely got over the wall.

Next batter Nootbaar lines a sure fire double in left center gap and again people stood up and celebrated before the ball landed.

My experience has been that the crowd reaction is as good as it was in ‘22 and in some ways better.

That is crazy. That looks perfect in that video. I noticed it for Dodgers and Giants stadium.

Do you think it might be fixed if I uninstalled and installed the game?

This is a Paul Goldschmidt homerun from a game against the A's.

Yeah that looks good. So I just played a game in Fenway. I hit a double in the RF gap that went for a double. The audio of the crowd was on point. But the outfield crowd just sat there and did nothing until the ball got back to the cut off man when they stood up and cheered.

I’ll try to make a video.

But is there anything I can do to fix it? Is it something that a reinstall the game would fix it?
