This is a guy who likely has been working jobs while pursuing boxing. He could have cashed in on a title bout and rode into the sunset knowing he could take care of himself and his family for the rest of his life.
Weeks robbed him of that.
I like your ideas for rectifying the results.
And I'd like to see something put in place for other erroneous decisions.
The first GGG-Alvarez fight is a great example. Everyone with a brain knew that fight wasn't a draw and GGG won at least 8 rounds.
In the 2nd fight, 97% of ringside scribes had GGG either winning or a draw.
In some cases, these decisions just reek of corruption.
It's 2023. We can figure out a way to correct these terrible decisions.
But in boxing it's like these are features not bugs.
