Good news: they are probably working on something awesome.

Bad news: it will probably have lots of bugs.

Unless they're quiet because they don't want to commit to anything unless it's fairly bug free, which is both good and bad news.

I agree it’s been quiet, hell idk who is on the cover yet. Usually we would hear some of the big key things that will be in the game around this time, then gameplay for June.

I wouldn't expect to see any news about Madden 24 until we approach the public beta, similar to last year. GameInformer's preview article for Madden 23 was published in early June 2022.

Nah... that's not their style. Complete or not, they will still release it and patch it in January.

I expect a much subdued marketing push this year. Especially early. The issues in M23 really hit them. I wouldn't expect any "most polished madden in history" comments again either.

I still remember the days of weekly blogs by Ian Cummings and devs talking daily on this board.

More like they can only do what they're allowed, and EA realized it's bad press when things they thought they could get done don't get done, but community engagers have already all but promised it.

Making games is hard. Especially when the suits have certain requirements you must maintain. It's a struggle for small developers, I can only imagine how tough it is for huge companies with board rooms filled with people who don't play games and are only interested in $$$.

Oh, please. The fact of the matter is, OS isn’t as big in the sports gaming world as it once was. There’s no benefit of them coming here and interacting like they used too.
