Great video.....thanks for sharing. Shocking that so many companies could spell "Home Run" wrong for so many years. "HOMERUN" is right up there with "SUPERBOWL" as my two grammatical pet peeves....

What's most amazing and at the same time sad to me is the wide range of options we had in 2000 for choosing a baseball game. I remember between my console and PC I had to try a good 4-5 games before deciding what I would play every year for every sport. That The Show is all there is anymore is ridiculous.

        Same for Madden and NBA2K.

Enjoyed the video but did anyone notice the error for Ken Griffey Jr. Presents on SNES they show Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run??? Anyway both were great games and ahead of their time.

It it, and I'm not even REMOTELY exaggerating, one of the most difficult baseball games I have ever played

EDIT: Wiki link for anybody who deosn't know. The fact that this was a kids game makes it even more insane

Winning Run was a sequel of sorts to the original. The artwork on the cover had Winning Run right on front. From 1996 I think.

These brought back so memorable moments. I had good gaming taste if you ask me. I also as a parent now have to give it up to my pops! 2000-2004 there were a lot of quality baseball titles.

Also kinda made me feel insane the show is a great game and has been longevity wise but from 2013- until now the changes kinda look bizzare (shocked at maybe a lack of change) just my opinion

And 2k baseball was a really smooth game after 11. Forgot about it to be honest at least for its time frame on the consoles.

The most memorable game is probably all star baseball or triple play 03 (I heard the contact sound, and it sent me back to being in elementary playing seasons on PC)

Thanks for the video! Fond memories of my childhood growing up in the 80s and 90s. Like others have said the choices we had back then to now is kind of sad.

That video was gold! I played so many games over the year, couldn't hold a few smiles watching it.

Started over the Coleco, than NES, Genesis, PC, Xbox and since 2013, on the PS.

Mostly played Baseball Star, Hard Ball 3, High Heat, MVP and The Show.

Like someone said, there was so much too choose late 80's and early 90's.

Doens't make me feel younger at all, but nice share! :-)

                          Wonderful walk down memory lane.

NES is where baseball gaming finally took off IMO:

                          Baseball Stars
                          Bases Loaded I, II, III
                          Tecmo Baseball
                          RBI 3

Then of course the Sega Genesis

                          Tony LaRussa Baseball
                          World Series Baseball
                          Hardball 3

The PS2/XBOX era was the golden age of sport gaming competition and gamers having so many choices!!

                          High Heat
                          ASB
                          Triple Play
                          MLB The Show
                          MLB 2K Baseball
                          MVP Baseball

Amazing choices and so much fun.

Tony LaRussa Baseball. We still joking about that one a lot between friends.

The "buzz" sound when it was an error still make us laugh to tears when we ear a sound like that!

And, most funniest thing about that game was the fact that most games, the organ player was starting in the 6th inning.

We're still joking about people arriving late saying : "Just like the organ player in LaRussa Baseball. :-)

I loved All Star Baseball. I thought it was cool in 2003 if you used the expos you got to play home games in the park in puerto rico.
