Editing Players with Different Head Models for Different Seasons

Is there a workaround (something with DNA maybe?) for editing Antoine Carr, Elden Campbell and Buck Williams to keep their head models from changing?

I dont think there is a way to avoid those glitch...KAJ full bald head on the 87 Lakers is another one...once you edit anything you just lose the preset head

Kareem, too? That sucks, but thank you for posting that because I didn’t know about him. So,
      Kareem
      Elden Campbell
      Antoine Carr
      Buck Williams

Anyone else? And is it just ‘87 Kareem with goggles that changes?

Yes, just '87 Kareem bald with googles...basically if you change anything you lost his full bald head and you are forced to use either the samll afro from late 70s or the semi-bald with googles from 1985.

Odd, I edited Scottie Pippen, Buck Williams, Elden Campbell and a few others in the 91/92 season from top to bottom and didn't see any changes to their visuals.

Interesting. I'm doing edits on MJW's completed classic teams file; do you or anyone think if I exported someone's DNA from the Jordan Era (ie Williams) and imported their DNA to their Modern Era classic team selves, editing would not cause any losses?

Hard to say. This glitch seems random, as I always use MJ's awesome rosters as a base myself, then deep dive with tendencies, playbooks etc etc - I've yet to come across the issue so far, but know of plenty of folk who have encountered it.

Shame we don't know the actual root cause of the issue.

Buck Williams only has his goggles in his roster picture. But going into edit he doesn’t. I swear when the game launched they were there

Williams has goggles on the roster I use.

Williams, like bald 87 Kareem, lose instantly his face as soon as you open the edit mode.

I skipped over Buck Williams ('91 Blazers) and Kareem ('87 Lakers) from your roster when doing some editing--Williams has his goggles and Kareem has short hair.

No worries at all. I skipped over him to avoid any glitch but since the bald model was already lost, I guess it's okay to go back and possibly do any edits.

Am I correct in assuming that '86 Antoine Carr is okay to edit since he doesn't have goggles? Or should he still be avoided the same as '91 and '98 Elden Campbell?

(on a side note, I must say that your created player head models are very accurate, but we wouldn't expect anything different from you)

                            Thanks

It won't work, because to export a player, you have to go into the editing screen and even if you don't edit anything, it still counts the exporting as an edit. I tried that with Carr so that he would have the glasses on my 96-97 Jazz save. Didn't work.
