          So could I start playing this on EA app then take that franchise save and use it in Steam?

              Do, or will rosters be cross play? It's not necessarily clear if I could, for instance, play on PC and download a roster created on Xbox or PlayStation?

                  I don't care about cross play or anything like that. But this better not be a hook, line and swerve like the past. We better ACTUALLY get the next gen version on PC.

                      Can confirm from the beta that PC is the the same as the latest generation of consoles. It needs a bit of work. There was some stuttering in between plays, and one v one live was horrendously bad with lag (could be related to the few people available to play against, or just my ancient GPU). But it is definitely "next gen."

                          Questions, does EA actively ensure that their games are mod friendly or not? Are there active blockades/barriers to modding or do they not really care? Do they have a "hey, if you can figure it out, have at it" type of attitude or what?

                          I'm asking because I've seen enough through context clues that make me think that its not guaranteed that modders will be able to add things, like there's some mystery to trying to figure things out.
