    Funkycorm's PS5 Fictional Draft Classes

    Hello everyone!

Many don't know me here as I don't commonly frequent the NBA2k forums. I tend to stick to the MLB and Madden forums. But I wanted to contribute to the community here.

These will be for the PS5

I have 5-6 PS5 fictional draft classes I want to share. I know there is a slew of quality work already here on the PS5 but thought that there may be those, like me, who like to sim or plays years into the future and would like more draft classes at their disposal as they head into those future years.

I make these classes during the cycle to go with my dynasty. I do not like how the game generates draft classes and have my own system for editing the classes to better fit my needs. A system I have been improving on since I started doing this in 2k20. Though this is only the first year I have shared.

I do not write scouting reports on Google slides or anything like that. Though I may make small scouting reports on each class if I get requests to do so. I had some storylines in mind for each class when I made them. Feel free to take these and make your own storylines for your dynasty.

    What my classes have:

All of my boom/average/bust percentages equal 100 percent. By this I mean, one player could be 80/10/10 and another could be 10/70/20 and any and all other combos in between. I did extensive testing on this and really like the results. Paired with the min and max potentials, I really like what has come from this.

There are first round busts, second round sleepers, role players, potential generational talents, and everything in between. And it can play out differently each time through because of the bust/boom percentages.

A variety of schools for players. No longer will you get 8 players from Duke in the draft. It can make for some fun storyline creation.

Around 60 players per class edited meaning you have nearly 2 full rounds of players edited.

Eliminated multiple players of the same name throughout the classes.

Removed some badges that are OP.

    Min and max potential adjusted.

Peak begin and peak end ages adjusted

Ages are more realistic and there are not 24-25 year olds. This includes much more realistic ages for top talent.

    Some editing of tendencies.

    Height adjustments.

    Secondary position adjustments.

Overall adjustments as well as attribute adjustments.

There may be a few injured players along the way.

There is no guarantee that the number 1 pick each year is a guaranteed hall of famer or perennial all star. Draft wisely. Scout and be rewarded.

What I will be working on for future iterations of the game if I continue on making these public:

    More tendency editing

    Appearance editing

    Signature shot editing

If these classes sound like something you would use, feel free to use them to your heart's content. As I said, feel free to take them and make your own storylines.

Feel free to leave constructive feedback as I am looking to improve on these classes and my class creating in the future.

As I said , these were made for my personal liking but thought sharing them would be a worthwhile cause.

The next post will have the download information.

Nice! How quickly do you think you could get one up on ‘24 when it comes out? I’ll be looking for a great fictional draft class or looking for one early! Thanks for all you do creating!

So I wanted to hold off a bit before truly answering your question. I had answered it with confidence I was moving on to 2k24. s of now, I don't know if I am. I haven't seen anything that has impressed me to make me want to give up my franchises. As we get closer that may change and I may end up pulling the trigger but as of now I don't know if I am moving on.

We will see what the next few weeks bring.

I have made a few tweaks but the franchise dynasty I am running is an entire sim franchise so I have been playing but haven't actually played an on court game since April. I would honestly have to look to see what gameplay sliders I have changed but difficulty is superstar.

And yes, I know that makes me weird lol.

Re: Funkycorm's PS5 Fictional Draft Classes

I am officially doing fictional classes for 2k24.

I initially wasn't going to get the game but my wife ordered the physical copy for me because she knows I am a Kobe fan. She did do the free shipping on Amazon so I won't have the game until next week. I am also going to be out of town next week so I won't be starting on classes for about 10 days.

The plan is to expand on what I did in 2k23 and do more editing than previously.

I got about 70 downloads from my classes. I don't care about the numbers but it was nice to see people wanting to use my work. It is a motivating factor for this years game.

I will go into more details when I make my new thread but the simple plan is to do 7-8 classes this year. I like to keep at least one spot open always for downloading other classes so I can make changes to them if I want to and so I can do rotating WNBA classes.

More details will be coming out in the next 10 days as I get a thread made.
