No "Eras" updates? That would be bummer for me. That was my favorite feature by far and to me one of the best things in sports video game history.

I like the idea of streamlined MyCareer if the intent is to elimate all the tasks and just let me play. I gave up on the mode other than playing in The Rec (just leveled up that way). I don't think I played more than a game of MyCareer in NBA. I have no desire to hunt for NPC's to train me, be a rapper, be a fashion designer, etc. I just want to play. I fully understand that RPG depth is what many enjoy but hopefully by streamlined that means those who don't want to do the side quest stuff don't have to.

Personally, without more ERAS or refinements I'll just keep playing NBA2K23 (at least until sale prices). I'm still enjoying NBA2K23 even now (which usually doesn't happen for me this long after release).

Eras stuff should be included in the MyNBA news

Like Mavs said, I imagine any Eras updates would be included alongside MyNBA. However, I am not holding out for many significant upgrades on that front this year. There's been rumors of a "LeBron" Era being added (beginning in the early 2010s) so that'd be cool, but I don't expect much in the way otherwise, just because it seems like they poured a fair bit of resources into getting the mode out there last year, so I could see them treating the mode like it's settled business for now.

I, too, will have my eye on what streamlined MyCareer looks like. I haven't delved into this segment of the game since the scripted storyline took over years ago. It'd be nice to get back to a place where the option's there to live out a more realistic, grounded career.

I hope there’s more MyNBA changes than the leaked LeBron era. I don’t have high expectations for MyCareer but it can’t be worse than last year’s dumpster fire.

                  I need 3 things:
                  - Passing options improved, expanded and more realistic
                  - Fast breaks to work like they do in real life, passing and more importantly speed (especially with leak outs) where a guy on the break can be by himself, not get caught by a AI defender simply because that's how they coded it.
                  - MyERA to have new classic players and more importantly more courts, uniforms and not have the INCONSISTENCIES where for example Rockets 1979-1995 court is actually not accurate for the 93-94 team, but is for the 2002-03 team that didn't even have it!

If they don't add anything new to MyERA, then at the very least I hope they allow us to use edited MyEra rosters in Play Now and Playoff Mode games.

We are getting a new Era and AFAIK that custom option for play now too.

I know we will have a new my nba era mode but It would be dope if 2k could add a Lil bit of flavor to these my nba era mode such as newspapers for the 80s and TV shows for the 90s.

Changes to modes are nice but gameplay is always #1 to me.

Better to refine and make sure the existing is already rock solid than to keep adding and adding just for the sake of "new" IMO.

I'd welcome any addition to MyEras mode. I feel like we can reasonably recreate our favorite past era's. A LeBron Era would be cool. I am hoping that the Modern NBA recieves more love this year.

I want to be able to use the MyCareer practice drills to improve (or just maintain) skills over the years. I'd like to be able to do the full NBA Draft Combine from MyCareer 2K22. I want to be able to see and play with prospects before the draft, not just look at combine results. Give us the option for a real draft with guys walking up and shaking the commissioner's hand or the streamlined option we have now. I just want more meat on the Modern Era bones.
