NHL 24 news has been conspicuously scarce. Today however, they announced sign ups for play testing for the game. Put your name on the list here:

I guess this will only be for the ONLINE portions of the game ?

Oh and this is the page I’m getting 🤔 Seems like it’s for 23 and it says the registration is over….

At this point I am glad to hear they are making NHL 24. People were wondering if a new game was even coming.

I hope it’s not just chel or three on three, hope it’s at least offline play now games so we can see how cpu plays.

The playtest is online so I like to know with which Playstation plus variant the test works ?
Is the cheapest variant ,, Essential ,, enough or do you need the ,, Premium ,, variant to test the game?

If it's only World of Chel and HUT, I'll pass on the playtest. Why can't we test franchise like the Madden 24 beta?

Rarely do they test offline content during BETA of games. I've tested many multiplayer games, and unless there's a specific offline BETA period, it's mostly online stuff that's tested.

That being said, it's mostly with Games that come out with multiple years in between their development, not yearly like sports games, so that's probably a factor.

But just to give you an example: Halo Infinite, Blessed, Diablo 4, Street Fighter 5 and 6. Just to name a few that had ONLINE only BETAs.

Also, even though it's gonna be online only, you will still be able to tell the direction the gameplay is going to go, even in the limited exposure to AI you'll get during the test. Case in point, the gameplay that was showcased in BETA test of the past was pretty much the gameplay that we got to experience when the game came out.

I'm fine with testing EASHL for now, as that's the mode I'm most interested in; I want to play against other human beings, not robots... I don't touch HUT. I may have had brain surgery, but there's no way I'm THAT brain dead in order to play that travesty of a game mode.

I got my code……is it only that pond hockey mode again ?? Or can I use real NHL teams and okay real NHL games ??

I don’t even want to download the play test if it’s just that kind hockey mode.

World of Chel and Hut, thats it. You can use an NHL team with Hut cards but without identical team roster.
