I see 2k is stepping their gameplay technology
2k hasn't given Audio love since 2k9 I think🤔
I hope they will revisit the Audio Department and match Pro play with Pro Crowd Audio

That would be dope if 2k can use real audio footage from past or live games and put it in the game

-Live crowd chants
-Live Arena sounds
- live Boooing if team like the Trailblazer Loud Boos Damien Lillard yesterday it will be in the game the next day
- Live Cheering for superstars,rookies if you bench your rookie that has star ✨ potential The crowd will start chants saying WE WANT (SO N SO) that goes for a superstar that got traded their
-Live Loud crowd chants for the 6 man every time he gets subs in

-Live team rivals chants

What I'm trying to say is I think it's time for 2k to add more audio realism and not copy and paste outdated audio

Audio definitely needs more love not just for us but also
A good challenge for themselves
This will make A true NBA video game complete 💯

The 2K is a small company excuse can't work anymore
They printing billions $$$$$$

So I get jealous when I hear college football is already working on the Audio and they never lack in that department
Because I know 2k potiienal if focused

Some of these ideas might already be in the game in some form but just random thoughts off the top of my head:

-Atmosphere changing based on the game and matchup. Obviously Playoff and Finals games should have a different sound and feel but regular season games should vary depending on the matchup. A game between rivals or top teams should feel different than say two bottom teams playing or a top team playing a tanking team.

-Better crowd reactions to momentum changes. As an away team builds a bigger lead you should be able to hear and feel the excitement of the fans draining. As the home to fights back, the energy should build and build, with a sense of anticipation for each shot.

-It would be cool if in close out playoff games,
the crowd recognizes the next opponent. For example, if the Celtics are going to advance to play the Heat the crowd might chant "We want the Heat" or "Beat the Heat." Maybe chants that indicate how many games it will take a team to win a series, "Bucks in 6."

-Home crowds having some animosity towards the refs if calls favor the away team, especially during playoffs and other big games. I don't expect "refs you suck" chants but there should be a little extra angst against the officiating.

-Crowds recognizing team and player rivals. Celtics and Lakers are an obviously rival but Lebron himself is a rival to the Celtics/Celtics fans. Along similar lines, teams showing love/hate for former players.

Edit: This probably isn't possible but would be cool to get some Pro Commentator Audio too. Kevin Harlan had a great call during one of the Heat Celtics game of "Jimmy Frickin Butler!"
Would be cool if that could be seamlessly added to the game and used when Butler is going off.

After they put their soundtrack together, I think audio is the last thing on their mind. They just update songs played in the menu

Shouldn't be like that 2k supposed to be a NBA Simulation so that means simulate everything including the Audio

Been asking for this for over a decade. My immersion thread I made post 2k14 mentioned this while audio was like half a decade old then. We're now a decade later and they still haven't touched it once 😂.
