I hope people remember it's important to focus on individual ratings rather than the OVR, especially considering the (pointless?) Intangibles rating can make a player OVR swing by a few points either way.

Frankly I always wished 2K would remove the intagibles rating and rework the OVR formula for the different positions to what is most valuable in today's NBA (ideally they'd have different OVR formulas for different ERAs).

And in general I think fans should remember that defense matters too, and so if you have two offensive powerhouse players -- yet one of them is able to bring it on the defensive end -- that player is simply more valuable. We're looking at the player's *entire* skillset, after all.

Same numbers I was thinking. Somewhere in the low 90s feels right and there's a good chance he gets a bump this season. Last year he was still working his was back from injury and building consistency. Wouldn't be surprised if the upcoming season is his best.

They show Jimmy respect with the rating but absolute disrespect with the same HIDEOUS player model. It’s crazy. They didn’t even try . I wonder if Jokic had been updated if the roles were reversed in the Finals

Lebron still a 96 is a joke TBH. He should have no durability and defense, along with toned down explosiveness... a 90 or so would be closer to reality IMO (which it's still impresive for his age by the way)...
